Moscow's Incredibly MODERN Metro System

Contact: contactjonnytickle@gmail.com
The Moscow Metro is known around the world for its beauty. Stalin-era stations like this, Komsomolskaya, and Mayakovskaya are known worldwide as some of the most stunning stations on the whole planet.
But, did you know, the Moscow Metro is also incredibly modern?
Since 2020, 31 stations have opened in Moscow. In the same time, London has opened just two, and New York has opened zero.
There are another 26 under construction right now as we speak.
So, what do the newest stations look like?
Let’s go and check out seven of Moscow’s most modern metro stations.

Thats because all ads needs to be licensed by the metro so they can be placed in the trains, banners and screens. Otherwise thats an act of vandalism and metro has the right to one sidedly stop their contract with you after putting a hefty fine.

As a Russian that's not a Muscovite but a Siberian, who only visits Moscow bout once a year, I can tell you that modern "average" stations took a HUGE step forward from Soviet averages. Those old stations from the 70s and 80s look so depressing and dull, just like my Soviet childhood was. All in dirty grey and dull blue, no bright colours, nothing special to remember. So happy those days and designs are long gone. Todays Metro architecture is stunning and eyepleasing for a tourist, to say the least.

That was the idea behind the Stalin era stations: the working people should enjoy art and beauty while they travel to and from work. So the working people built beautiful things for themselves. Then Khruschev cancelled Stalin's metro-building policy along with all his other socialist policies (the planned state economy for the large-scale production + small worker-owned businesses which had been taking care of the small-scale eveyday needs, the combination that had worked so well was purposefully ruined). And that was the end of the USSR, right there in 1953. Modern Russia is recovering and rebuilding. It's not yet on the level of the Stalin's USSR, but we're getting there. Oh and btw. Everything the corporate media tells you about Russia, USSR, and "the evil tyrant Stalin" is a lie. I hope you know that.

When I got back from Russia I was asked (of all things) "What are the Metro stations like?" I said, "Like cathedrals" and showed some vlog pictures of the ones you'll know I was meaning. I actually have no first-hand experience but would love to use the Metro next time. My problems are old age and disability! I would need an escalator or lift back to ground level and it appears not all stations have them. I'm OK going down, when gravity is on my side, but I can't fight it coming up! I wouldn't like to arrive somewhere and find I couldn't get out. How do disabled Muscovites manage?

As far as I remember, there is a bust of Academician Vernadsky at another station of the same name. In my opinion, it is not worth exalting his philosophy of cosmism. These ideas were very popular in the late Soviet Union of the 70s and 80s. Now the majority (Orthodox and Muslims) believe that the Earth and the universe were created by the Lord, and did not arise as a result of self-organization.

One does not negate the other, it goes in cycles of Evolution /Involution, Descending from Above and Ascending from Below. Descending is recorded in scripture and Ascension happens by Human effort. 7 days of creation in the Bible are not the days of Earth rotation, rather our Galaxy rotation around the center of Universe that are numbered into millions of Earth Years. So Evolution is Gods Creation. There is no contradiction with scripture. There are smaller Cycles of similar nature (Platonic cycle) and we are currently living in Ascension cycle - of Humanity Ascending into Gods. Such Cycle will peak in 10 thousand years when Human Race will concur entire Universe and spread multiple Civilizations on other planets and new offspring will consider Godlike Humans as their Gods who started their civilization with ethics, science and culture and bio engineered life

@@user-dn9hn8ht5y in Marxist terms updated version of social evolution - labor state, capitalism, fascism, socialism, communism, cosmism. Entire cycle will take 10 thousand years to peak. Cosmism will be reached no earlier than 5 - 7 thousand years. Each formation forgoes 8 stages of development. Capitalism is not done yet. We got into Information stage, that makes State Capitalism possible and preferable and Liberal Market and Corporate - obsolete. After that - Innovative Capitalism and Ethical capitalism, only after that Capitalism will be done and pure Fascism will begin. Socialism in about thousand years.
