No doubts, Moscow is a beautiful city. I’ve seen several videos of Christmas in Moscow and every time I am entranced. It must be amazing to live in a city that seems so safe & clean, and so dressed up in decorations everywhere for the season. The more I see, the more I want to visit some day. Many don’t know, even locals, but just in case there is a free WC right on the left from the Spasskaya Tower. I was so (on time) once shocked to reveal that secret 25 years after visiting the Red Square from time to time 😂

Great find, haha. There used to be two in Alexander Garden, on both sides of Kutafya tower, now there's only one of them left. And one mentioned next to historical museum. Was always funny to see how people get fooled and paid money to take a dump in those ugly blue cabins. Hope they are history now, as they definitely spoilt the view.

Открою вам тайну: местные все эти туалеты знают. И не только эти. В тех краях бесплатно можно сходить в туалет в детском мире,а так же в торговом центре гостиницы "Четыре сезона",вход туда с противоположной строны от Манежной площади. Да и много куда еще можно сходить,всего и не перечислишь. Можно зайти практически в любое кафе.

@Lada Vlada certainly..I was originally born in St Petersburg Russia and adopted when I was ten with with my brother and sister. Long story short I've always felt attached to Russia and made my final decision to move back finding some family members along the way. Now that I'm here it's a different feeling- you just don't know home until you feel truly at home. I will always love Texas and look forward to visiting back but now I'm happy here in Russia

We have had a warm spell in Ottawa Cda over the last 3-4 days, melted a fair amount of the snow on us. It makes it little dangerous at nights if it cools down below zero, and freezes everything. I love that market with the green structures. We need something like that in Ottawa, maybe along the canal, and at major Hill park. Would be nice for summer time too.

Starting from 4:30 the building is called “English Club”, in 19th century it was a gathering place for the Russian nobles, now it’s a museum of contemporary Russian history. But they still have a table there at which Pushkin used to play cards (he often lost and used to have big debts)

Cafe Pushkin is not a cafe, it's a restaurant. "Cafe" is just a part of its name. You do not go there for tea and cakes, you go there for posh 3 course dinners in the traditional Imperial style. The building near the restaurant is a confectionery belonging to the same owner, but it's not THE Cafe Pushkin.

А еще невозможно достать билет на балет Щелкунчик в декабре, хотя спектакли идут каждый день, а на выходных по два раза в день). Все забито!!! Нам посчастливилось попасть 30 декабря в театр Станиславского. Боже, какая великолепная труппа! Был аншлаг, мы рукоплескали неистово и орали "Браво", ощущалось невероятное единение артистов и зрителей, все вместе куда-то в космос под гениальную музыку Чайковского).

Very nice, Here we call there Italian lights of Venetian lights. We have a smaller light we call ferry lights and they tend to break. What kinds of trees does Moscow plant in their park areas.? I find Russian playground to be of a higher quality and more durable than in western nations. In the old country people take scrap wood and make toys to sell in Christmas markets. Also some make Jewelry. I assume Moscow has people doing the same. The benches look kind of like the ones they have in Paris.

Yes, a burger and 2 fries. Thats what was told to me on the original opening day, when i was there. I braved the crowds to find out about it back on opening day. I was there in the markets a few weeks ago and it was much more quite and easier to walk through. I agree though, there was a lot of people out enjoying the festive season.

Dear Russell, just to be clear - around 9:37 - it's Tverskoy boulevard, which is a part of Boulevard Ring, right? Bcs it sounded like you said "Tsvetnoy boulevard", and it's a totally different location.

The 1st of January is the first day of the year. But different dates are used to celebrate different events in December and January.

@@TravellingwithRussell why not? Afraid? 😁 Or language problem? You can easy visit to SPB. 4 hours for fast train, or 1,5 by plane. There are many who understand english.
