A genuine culmination of skills learned and tools built/restored in order to craft one of your most beautiful pieces yet. I feel like the level of satisfaction gained from watching this project be created is directly correlated to the length the viewer has followed the channel. Not only was the piece itself a work of art, but so was the subtle story of your journey to date told by the video itself.

The last division of steel in quarters and the way you welded them made all the difference. I would love to be good at this! I've never seen any of the contestants from the show Forged in Fire make such a pattern. Usually they just stack them on top of each other. Well done!

It literally only has to do with time constraints. The more times you cut and stack a billet the more time you spend forge welding before you can even start making the shape of your blade. Those contestants are under such strict time constraints they often have a hard time just finishing the project at all. That being said this undoubtedly is a beautiful piece. I just wouldn't discount any of those contestants in this way.

@@zac9933 I was speaking about the division of the billet into 4 pieces and stacking & welding it the way he did in this video. I haven't seen a contestant on that show do it the same way. I did not talk about how many times they did or did not cut their billets in half.
