In a commercial job site you wear a safety helmet everywhere on the job site except the break room. A nut that falls down from a high enough height can penetrate your skull. There's a reason that construction jobs are consistently ranked the most dangerous jobs in America. Wearing a safety helmet while servicing a sink is good practice for when you need it to service a sink in a new building being built. There are safety officials that walk around that will pull you aside and fire you for breaking OSHA rules on certain jobs in the real world.

@@stevenmajicmike I'm actually Air Force. This portion of our course we are in a hybrid class with the Army. If you noticed in the video, most of the people besides the actual Army students sitting in the seat, are Air Force. Pause the video, you'll see it. So this part of the course is all that Army does for AIT. It's right at 2 months long. It's mostly hands on plumbing, and it's actually pretty fun course. You build a latrine from the ground up, with all the plumbing and what not. I enjoyed it. As Air Force, we spent 2 more months learning about fixing fuel systems, base pools, water treatment and what not.
