Remove SOME of the "lessons" of having to learn each characters moves. Have the open world be a bit more interactive. It would be PERFECT.

OMG! The nostalgia with this one truly is strong. I remembered how excited I was to see this when this first started, and seeing how long it took to finish it, this was so worth it and I’m glad we can relive the fun now with this movie. Glad you showed this, Ian, and I hope you and all the DanDans have a lovely weekend. I love you all.😊❤️

I had Deception on the OG Xbox for over a year before ever being aware of this mode. After the Konquest being nothing but a training mode in MK:DA... i never bothered checking this out. The surprise i felt when starting this off and seeing it semi open world was an absolute treat. I still go back and play this every year or so. This was already the best game of the 3D era and Konquest just solidified it.

Konquest wins the award for best surprise game mode in a game. It was so good, for what it was at the time! Being able to visit all the realms and meet all the characters in the game history. So freakin good! I loved the music as well. I seriously played Konquest more than the actual fighting game. 🍻🔥🤘🏼

Deception became my favorite MK game when Liu Kang straight-up died in the opening cinematic.

The amount of time I spent playing deception! Absolutely love this game! I know that put shaolin monks at the top of your list of favorite games (which I honestly don't blame you it's a great game on its own) but this one armageddon and x are my top 3 favorite mortal kombat games

There are rules. You have to train with Liu Kang Then you unlock him and then you get his alternate costume.

If you told me this game's premise was taking charge of an orphan and trying to help him achieve his dream of being a butler, instead of a drunken failure who beats his wife, I would totally believe it.....and honestly be on board for the journey.

After playing through "Deadly Alliance" and it's (barely) glorified tutorial disguised as a "story" or "Konquest" mode, THIS actual Konquest mode blew me away! I was 24 years old when it came out... and the bad voice acting didn't bother me one bit! Back then, that's still what we were used to. There were exceptions, of course... but by in large, we still hadn't gotten to the point where voice acted games had trained, accomplished v.o. artists.

I can guarantee that I spent more hour than anyone in the world in this mode, all thanks to the “super unlockables” rumor that spread like wildfire in the Mortal Kombat Online forum, all because of the names that would appear in the clouds of the main menu, Stryker being one of those names. I wanted to be the guy who unlocked these, so I spent so much time looking everywhere. All for nothing but man did I have a good time. Ah nostalgia…
