I'm finishing this video and I gotta say, that yes, we enjoy your disdain and misery of playing this game, but it's for the greater good. The BEST part, to me, aside from you finishing it, was when you dropped, from the rope in the sewer level, made it into the moving platform, and STILL died. I'm watching at work and I had to pause it and run to the bathroom so nobody in the office could hear me burst out in laughter and tears! 🤣🤣🤣 This is quality youtube stuff. You are the man, Ian!!!!

I remember being SO EXCITED to find out there was as a single player sub zero game. I was like 6 and thought I found some secret I wasn’t supposed to know. I couldn’t get past the first level to save my life and I did NOT understand wtf I was playing but I just kept playing for a week straight.

John Turk who played Sub-zero was my substitute teacher in health class back in 99 or 2000. We weren't sure until we recognized his somewhat baseball sized biceps. Kinda cool but he didn't talk about the games at all obviously since it was a classroom.

They should make these story based single player MK games again (but actually good this time). Would love a modern Sub Zero game with Ghost of Tsushima/Assassins creed style third person gameplay. Great play through Ian, you really suffered for us with this one.

"Does this guy do anything?!" *Guy suddenly jumps over Sub-Zero and kicks him in the face* 😂 I remember when my roommate bought this game on release day. We were so excited to play it, but after just a few minutes I was through with it. However, since he paid full price for it, he kept at it. I don't know if he ever beat it, but he did get quite far.

Season 3 of GM Showdown would indeed be on Patreon. As it stands, it's shelved. I started talking about it and hyping it up but Nigel's not in at the moment, so, until further notice, GM Showdown is off the radar. A 'complete video' sort of deal for an entire season of GM Showdown would be like 24 hours long, which would be absolutely impossible to upload. The file would be comedically large and eat up my entire bandwith for the month, hahaha. It's a whole thing. But I appreciate your love of the show. =)

This game isn’t challenging….. it’s frustrating. The design of the stages, with the control system that is expected you to use to traverse the platforms work against you. The enemies hit you before you can see them because the camera doesn’t show you everything. Lastly, they have the nerve to block the later levels through difficulty setting. Fck this game, and games that do that. lol
