This 5 Years Gap can be used for this crossover where Titan Liu Kang ask for Emperor Nolan’s aid to help the other Kombatans with dealing with Titan Shang Tsung, in which he gladly accepts. Leading to this crossover. I hope they put this as a Invasion Ending for Omni-Man in the foreseeable future. 🙂

My guess is Quan Chi and Ermac may be the only DLC characters playable in this chapter since those two are in the Story Mode. The guest fighters is understandable why they would be excluded, as they are non-canon to the story.

I love how they had to enormously nerf Nolan so that he wouldn't annihilate 90% of the verse in an instant.
