You have the absolute BEST guides for this game. Other guides just go over basic inputs and combos and that's it, but you go over frame data, strategies, kameoes, etc. Love it

Bro your guides are 10/10. You talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the character in depth which I super appreciate. In a character crisis right now. Lao is definitely on my list

For that last combo you can also burn an extra bar of meter and do the EX grab combo extender and then fatal blow after. Should give you 529 damage total🔥

@@Xombat also side note more I play liu more I think this guy is not S+ but right outside of it. You think people sleeping on him? I haven’t really found a way to make him work great with cyrax but he’s great with lao, Stryker, sareena, scorpion all for diff reasons

Again a nice guide! i was searching if i would main Kung Lao, Liu kang or Raiden, then find 3 guide of them on your channel, and know... I Still dont know because they are all great to play :'D But i have a preference for Kung lao and Raiden now i need to find who about both character i will main in first

I had a cool combo I found for mid screen whiff punishes. I do not know if it’s optimal but it seems like it. b24, dash, 4, dash, b24, dash, 121, bf2

You're doing b1 into improved Dive Kick after punishing the -7 frame Subzero string, right? I can not for the life of me get this to work. Am I mistaken? Also, no joke: incredible guide

It works, you've just got to get the timing right I guess. Try inputting the B1 halfway through the block stun on the last hit of Sub's 12, and you should get the punish. You also can't input the DB4 instantaneously after the B1 because input shortcuts will think you're trying to input DB1. That's what helped me, and now I'm able to punish the 12 string

For anti air you just up block or flawless block?

What about sonya with the launcher?

Can someone tell me what makes a string fuzzyable in mk1? Like how many frames are required? You can fuzzy overhead / low strings with 2 frame difference? Do you block low first?

I think you can fuzzy all the way up to -8 providing your opponent does not have a fast enough normal/special to punish. And to fuzzy you need to back dash cancel. Back dash, crouch and then tap block. (Almost like “pianoing” in SF)

Fuzzy DOES NOT require back dashing or dash blocking😂. To fuzzy strings just look at the frame data of the strings to determine which to block first. If the hi comes out faster then block hi first then "fuzzy" to low block and vice-versa if the low comes out first then block low and "fuzzy" to Hi block....it's simple so don't listen to people who try to overly complicate it

Yes. Kameos do less damage in your combos

Kung lao is more Bland than the previous game, but at least he is stronger

You play any MKX? The combos in that game involved sprinting 😂

Why literally everyone calls Lao mix up character? He has no low starter for god sake, You literally cannot mix up on him. If the idea is that back 33 is low mixup then I am sorry, all characters in this game can mix
