I agree but I don't think it can be possible unfortunately. Isn't it a great series, I feel so many private people can relate to the character of Endeavor Morse, brilliant writing. Loved series 7.

Fabulous series..Shaun is a brilliant actor. Talented cast, great writing, great music, great scenery. Sorry that the series may only have a few years left.

Back to my favourite Morse & Joan after watching series 8 over the weekend 🙂 Who else is here after series 8. The 3 episodes were just too short and there's too little of Morse and Joan moments!

We are begging you to give these two a chance at love.

I loved that Morse went to see Joan in the hospital…so thoughtful of him. Both actors were terrific. 💐

i read comments that say the series is underrated! No, because it is made for people with refined, refined taste. You won't believe it, but I watch every, every replay with pleasure, like when I watch it for the first time. Morse and Trzdej are great, and Inspector Trzdej's marriage is perfect, so everyone dreams of such a marriage. In a word, the series, the actors, the direction, the script, the music ... everything is infinitely beautiful. Thanks to the English for that, even though they bombed us. I really feel, i watched some episodes four times or even more, but there still is so much to see. (Or i'm just forgetting things pretty fast ^^`) Also the Inspector is called Thursday (well, at least in the English version) Greetings from Germany!! =)

Totally agree w you. These days people usually don’t rewatch episodes. But for me, after seeing the entire episode and the complete plot, rewatching an episode gives one more appreciation of everything in the episode. And the classic cars are beautiful as well as the buildings and gardens. The circus I town episode was very impressive in the design.

These two are such an underrated couple as well! I love British drama, I always have...I just adore and appreciate the exquisiteness of the filming directing, storytelling and acting...I really believe that the Brits just REALLY know how to make a great tv show! I think the show must be quite popular for them to have renewed it for 2 seasons already? Maybe it’s just that many video editors don’t watch or like the show and that’s why there’s so few? I do believe this show attracts more of the mature audience...like I’m 27. So maybe most of the editors on here are much younger? I’m not sure...but either way I’m also so excited for the new season!! Really hoping for more scenes between them! Really hope they change the story from the books and make them be together! We don’t always need the endings on TV to be the same as the books...where is the fun in that?! 🌷 so sorry for the ranting! Although Joan has shown her non-committal attitude being with Morse, she does want to but is holding back due to the profession. In season eight Morse and Joan must get together - it will be the highlight of the Endeavour series.

Excellent thank you for this! At this posting they’re saying season eight is probably the last season. If that’s the case it sure would be great to end with Joan and Morse getting together even though the books say he never got married. We can make a new ending then maybe the story won’t end!

I will say that I never expected a video of them. I've loved this show and watching their relationship throughout but hadn't thought to look up videos for them not thinking there was any. Then I saw this...it was just beautifully done. I love the song, I think it fits perfectly, and the clips and voice overs are wonderfully done.

in the early series i felt morse and joan had a sort of james bond and miss moneypenny relationship.

I don't remember, if i already commented, but i keep coming back to this Edit. It is so well made. Just some examples: ''broken bottles'' shows empty bottles, ''in a hotel lobby'' two very fitting scenes again and all the three scenes flow into each other perfectly. Like when i first watched it, i thought they would be just like this in the actual show and Morse was in a hotel the first scene. Or the scene with ''kiss'' Joan gave Morse while he was being called, there were other scenes within and it still didn't look confusing or like it didn't belong there. All the scenes flow into each other perfectly again. I'm sure, this wasn't easy to make, but I'm glad you still did. This really is so pleasing to watch, i love everything about it!! =)

Also bbc "All Creatures Great and Small"...both are so good! You can always count on bbc to make wonderful shows :-). yes! You definitely MUST try this show! @@missjessieban thank you for the reply. I've thought about trying Smallville too! Have you tried "Flashpoint"? It's a crime show about a crisis response team in Canada. They're a law enforcement unit specifically trained to "talk people down," as a priority over TAKING them down. They'll use lethal force if necessary but they try not to. It's actually a very wholesome, emotional show. You might really enjoy it ☺️ You're videos are so awesome, you're such an inspiration to me. You actually got me and my sister into vidding! Sorry to upset you but if they did get together they don’t stay together. Endeavour is the third of a trilogy of dramas. The first is called Inspector Morse which was when he was older. The second was Lewis, who was Morses sidekick and the last was Endeavour obviously when he was younger. All three dramas are excellent viewing. Inspector Morse showed the man that his younger self turned into and he was never married. Loved all 3 dramas and they were all rated as top class here in U.K. Many of the UK’s finest actors/actresses were guest stars. Please watch them all, you won’t be disappointed.

No she is actually 5 years younger than him. I don’t see that she looks older. Sometimes it’s the hairstyle that can seem so.

Sorry, but he belongs with Monica. He was himself and happy with her. Sadly, racism wrote her off. I hate hate how they wrote her away just like that with no real explanation. The storyline with Joan is annoying.
