To be honest, I sort of try to make that my style. Since I am always really annoyed by watching over prepped videos. Idk, might sound like an excuse for me being lazy, but in this case it is not

I watch your videos because you talk about stuff people find unimportant or uninteresting such as your video on the Penitus Oculatus and necromancy but most importantly i find you include more detailed information compared to mainstream lore channels who say they same basic information but dont truly expand on the details like most lore masters enjoy. I wouldn't say the Empire chose to help itself rather than the other provinces during the Oblivion Crisis. In The Elder Scrolls IV we learn that the local Legion presence is low. So low, even, that Ocato could not send any forces to aid Martin Septim at Bruma in destroying the Great Gate there because it would mean drawing forces from the other provinces. This is futher confirmed by the deep anti-Empire Count Marius Caro, who points out that the Empire focuses excessively on the other provinces and leaves Cyrodiil to fend for itself.

+Nep Nep I was specifically pointing out the Oblivion Crisis. Also, the reason why Skyrim has to recruit its own militia is because of a common threat that borders Cyrodiil. Were the Empire's forces split, defeat would be inevitable.

The reason I watch your videos is because you are pretty much the only channel I know that is exclusively dedicated to TES lore. I personally prefer the videos on modern tamriel (4E). Your effort on this channel is truly appreciated, keep up the good work!! PD: The deep political analysis you make in pretty much every video is in my opinion what makes you stand out from other TES lore videos I've seen.

After recently finally being able to completely play and enjoy Morrowind, I have to say it always saddens me when I hear what happened to this province after the events in TES III and IV. So many beautiful places destroyed and can only imagine how many things you helped to shape, simply ended as memory... Still, there is always hope for this province as long as their people live.

I write lore for my own Elder Scrolls AUs. These videos give great insight into the history and/or future, which is GREATLY needed. I also just love hearing these stories!

The reason i watch your videos is because you cover topics that i find fascinating. I love the Elder Scrolls series, and the story and history behind it, and your videos fill that niche that i don't really see covered in the same way elsewhere

I watch for a mixture of having nothing better to do, liking the more specific style of your videos and how they aren’t totally focused on Skyrim, and how I can listen to the videos without missing out on too much so I can do other things.

Old ass video but to answer your question still: you're really good at summarizing things that happened TES universe and im running a D&D campaign that takes place in 4E 226 on a small coninent i made up that lies east and slightly north of Morrowind.

I watch your videos because you cover very interesting topics and for your theories/speculation you use real live strategies and politics.

I think your videos are just good 😁. They are extremely well researched, I like your visuals, and I agree with your deductive reasoning when things aren't totally known. Plus, I love the empire!

I watch your videos because out of every other "Lore Historian" channel on KZread you consistently, in my opinion, put so much effort into each and every one of your videos and research all sides of a topic so that you present it in an unbiased manner. Elder Scrolls lore is a subject I am super passionate about studying, and have been for years, and your videos still provide information that is completely new to me which honestly just goes to show how awesome and well researched your videos are to me. Whether they be your recent ones, or ones like these that are over 3 years old, the quality is astounding and that's why I watch. I know this comment is late but I just wanted to share my piece, I'm so happy that your channel is still active and constantly improving. Imperial Guards in Oblivion is just like your shadow... Trespass smoothly, Loot all the things and bam! A sudden yield of "Stop! You violated the law" at your back hahaha

The high detail of lore videos is definitely worth watching. I also find that a lot of elder scrolls youtubers I used to watch have gone down the path of clickbait titles, brief and rushed explanations or top tens to keep up view counts

I just love ES lore and you're one of the few that puts so much work into making quality explanations for what happened in the story. The maps are pretty cool too.

I was here very close to when you first started and i seen alot of potential for a good lore channel then I noticed your voice and your accent and how hard it was to pronounce the English and I am to this day extremely impressed with how fast you've been able to overcome alot of boundaries and i mean this in no disrespect man lore is good i share many of the same opinions as you when it comes to skyrim or TES lore in general seeing you work with avarti (hope thats spelt right) and straight up Irish was exciting hope you continue the channle for some time.

the reason i subscribed to your content was you have a very well thought out and detailed examination of political stances and events that few other channels truly grasp in such depth as you do. The Fantasy world of TES is easy to get lost in heroic granduer and the epic poetic glory of the cosmos but the down to earth core of national relations that the lore consists of building such problems as simple as Empire versus Dominion you hammer the nail of the topic on the head everytime (your second Great War video for example was golden for logical play by play for the reality of what would happen). You represent well observed socio-political, economic, and the intricacies of this lores dynamics, which is rich for killing my free time when grinding on games or when i have down time. Otherwise you're a good channel who deserves all the praise you receive for your hard work, and i appreciate your efforts to producing such content for people like me to enjoy. -PostScript Your voice isn't that bad by the way, i have heard far less blessed people in voice trying to explain lore and you're fine, i hope i can alleviate any self awareness there.

I watch them because I always wanted to learn more about TES lore, but couldn't find the right format or a reliable source other than the wikis or the games themselves. These videos cover a lot of topics with detail and some are even linked in terms of content, which makes understanding chains of important events and ellaborating on a certain topic pretty easy and accessible. You sir do a magnificent job with these.

I just stumbled upon your channel's videos because i'm having a hard time deciding which Great House to join in my playthrough of Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, lol. I appreciate this video especially because I've been doing a roleplay on Discord where my character goes back to Morrowind after the events in Skyrim's civil war. i watch (and currently you have 17k congrats btw) because you give the facts and you give no bs and these have helped me get ready for the elder scrolls 6. i have my own theory about the story involves the nerevarine and the dragonborn morrowind predicted skyrim and TES 6 theres fact a redoran has the dialogue the akiviri are plotting to invade again they are waiting for the empire to weaken with civil war sound familiar?

I live and breathe Elder Scrolls, I am currently in the midst of drawing out four Elder Scrolls games, I found your videos to be a remarkably good source of lore for this task.

I watch your videos because they don't mix in too much headcanon or rely on Kirkbride as much as other videos do. You explain things based off in-game material for the most part, or material that Bethesda has recognised as part of the actual lore.

Okay, in answer to your question, I like your videos because you go much more into the detail I am looking for. Like for example, the war in Akaviri you pace out the winters and have a tactical map, it really was awesome. Also, I like your voice more xD kind of a shallow reason, but I don't like listening to FudgeMuppet's voice AND he doesn't go into enough detail and often has gaps in the lore (also if you listen to his video about the daedric princes, the spacing between Princes is really weird). I'm still only a dozen or so videos in, so I can't say what I would like to see, since maybe you already covered it. So far I like them the best out of the other lore content creators on KZread. Keep it up!
