@Girls Br *I grew up! Idol worship is for children. Aside from that, in my opinion, his best solo years were 1988 to 1992. After that, he gave up trying to actually sing !!!*
I dont want him to retire, but i also dont want anything to replace this absolutely outstanding album! A return to a sound ive longed for for many years.
Morrissey, I love you forever! Thanks for your music.

Edit: it amazes me how a positive comment about a musician I love and continue to love could generate such negative comments. Right?! From his other recent recordings, I thought it was going out. But I guess it was that same persistent cold that kept him cancelling his concerts. Either way, I'm glad he's still singing well.

*Happy birthday Moz, you have been a big part of the soundtrack of my life, thanks for existing and making incredible music. A big hug from Mexico*
He's so awesome. Greetings from Poland!
Bloody hell, Morrisey still sounds epic, I've not heard much from him recently but that will change, a proper icon, believe it or not I'm cousin to Robbie Keane who was a footballer who played for Ireland and he's Morrissey's cousin, I've met him at Robbie Ma's house a good while back now after an Irish international match, really nice man, he looks like an older Robbie tbh, he doesn't like PC speech, I admire that, I told him "mate I'm a big fan, I love the Smiths" he said "yes but do you like Morrisey" , he has really dry humour and was a gentleman, if he tours ill try to get to see him.
How not to love this man?! Moz has saved my life so many times x
Can't wait for the album!

Morrissey, I loved your voice in The Smiths back when I was a teenage Scooterist and when I heard about you going solo I somehow didn't listen for you ONLY to refind you here and now............... The voice I just can't stop hearing and looking for songs I haven't heard yet, Oh what a fool I have been, all the years I have seen, Losing out on all the listening time I ignorantly didn't get : (

Morrissey's heart joy comes out from an outstanding universe of impeccable and unique Englishness, not empty but filled with modern and classical cultural property and traits.

Morrissey whereby such a forum exists I may say this is your best album since ROTT and I include YOR in that. I love ho light-hearted you have become. What kind of people livecin these houses is the funniest song on the albu. Good dark humour too in knockabout world and Jim Jim falls. The memoir about your grandmother was equally euphonious. I hope you read these comments from Tim e to time it's th. Only way I have of communicating with you. I actually listen 90percent of th time on Amazon Music. Cannot wait for Bonfire of Teenagers. Brilliant, some of his best works yet.
After my enduring 44 years of people, police and political crimes. 30 have been easier to get away with and survive with meaningful lyrics. People however no matter how I try remain outside the meaningful, lyrical and emotional importance. You help the toleration so please continue. A long time ago we met at the Nova Hotel after the King George's Hall performance. Always remembered and always a shy meeting.
Damn, I forgot. This is what good music used to sound like.
Remembered me of The The! Love you, Moz! 💕🇧🇷
Genius, this time a real one..
Another winner. He’s just keeps on going! Well done.
Thank you Morrissey! This song instantly gave me that 80s happy vibe like when l first heard The Smiths. This song could easily be placed on the Revelations album if that was a true album? Can't wait to hear the other songs :)
Mucha gente se acostumbra a los mismos sonidos, la misma fórmula para hacer canciones, la verdad Yo le agradezco a Morrissey que a estas alturas se atreva a experimentar con sonidos nostálgicos y contemporáneos. Ojalá regrese pronto a México. ¡Viva Mozz!

Edna Welthorpe Back in the 1920s,when fascism was a new political , it was widely - and correctly - regarded as being on the political left, that’s just a historical fact the left tries to deny and being part of the political For Britain party does not make you a fascist nor a racist Latinos who entered the US legally, do not approve of Mexicans entering the country illegally, does that make them racists as well... are all latinos of love Morrissey fascists as well ?
@MeanManu
4 жыл бұрын
Edna Welthorpe It is fashionable among the radical left to demonize the growing number of elected conservative governments in the Western world as the rise of the extreme or alt-right. This is most pronounced in the anti-fascist (antifa) movement, particularly on university campuses. However, the anti-fascist movement has a sophomoric misunderstanding of fascism and its location on the political spectrum. More disturbing, this lack of understanding extends to its own social media and even physical tactics that mimic the mob psychology, street rage and bullying that are hallmarks of the fascism they denounce. The extreme version of conservatism isn’t fascism, as the left wants us to think. It’s the left itself, you are the knew fascists... If you do now agree with us, you demonize us with student protestors adopting from fascists “their anti-intellectualism, their anger, their street theater, their glorification of youth, or their mysticism.” There was also their “mob psychology” and “the militant anti-reason impervious to argument.” These characteristics are all amply evident in today’s campus protests against a fascism they hotly denounce but whose tactics they generously employ.Today the rise of extremism is more pronounced and frightening on the left than the right. The demonization of the right as fascism, that therefore forfeits its place to be heard in the public square, employs the strategy developed by the Marxist scholar Herbert Marcuse. One of the progenitors of the so-called New Left in the 1950s, Marcuse maintained that certain views on the right had to be silenced because this freedom of expression was “serving the cause of oppression.” In this line of thought, censorship serves the cause of freedom because intolerance against the right, while indulging extremism from the left, somehow levels the playing field for democratic debate.Today the rise of extremism is more pronounced and frightening on the left than the right.
