I thought I'd *hate* it. I'm a total Joni fanboy, and know almost nothing about Morrisey (yeah, yeah - The Smiths, blah, blah, blah). How could a *man* even think about covering this song? Impossible. From the opening strains - awestruck. It's not even over yet, and I'm misty eyed. Such a respectful, amazing homage... I stand correct. I sit... *amazed* Bravo, sir.

Love this! One of Joni's most important songs. What an honest interpretation by Morrissey, in his own way, not mimicking, and retaining that gorgeous English accent.

I need to hear this at least once or twice a week. Love the Mos. " A rebel loves a cause".

Brilliant Joni Mitchell song. Great version. Two of my favourite artists together. Wonderful.

I literally had this on repeat for 3 hours. Gorgeous.

This song and most of California Son is simply amazing.

This version is absolutely gorgeous. It may be one of Morrissey's most beautiful vocals and arrangements ever. It reminds me of This Night Has Opened My Eyes a little. Or at least that vibe anyway.

I love when my favorites collab. Prince was very inspired by Joni, too. I read recently that on his last day, he had purchased some CDs; one of which was Joni.

Summer Lawns is a masterpiece. I can’t think of any other album that comes close. Apart from Blue, Court &Spark, Hejira, Turbulent.
