The buffer region isn’t controlled by the Polisario. Morocco is using it as a buffer in the case of an attack against the security berm, so that it doesn’t attack inside Algeria Borders when it retaliates, causing an larger conflict.

A YEAR AGO I ASKED YOU TO MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT MOROCCO, AND YOU DID A SUPER WELL, NOTHING TO ADD, NOT POLITICALLY INTENDED BUT MORE FOCUS ON THE STATE OF AFFAIRS. MOROCCO WAS AN EMPIRE, AND AS YOU SAID THE ONLY COUNTRY IN NORTH AFRICA WAS NOT COVERED BY THE OTTOMANS, MOROCCO WAS ALSO VERY STRONG AND THEY DEFENDED THE COUNTRY WELL AND BEATED THE TURKS. THE WESTERN SAHARA NEVER EXISTED AND IS A MOVEMENT THROUGH ALGERIA SINCE 1975, THEREFORE IT WILL NEVER BECOME A LEGITIMATE STATE, AS YOU HAVE SEEN UNDER THE DYNASTIES OF ALMORAVID AND ALMOHAD MOROCCO WAS GREAT GEOGRAPHICALLY.

Great video! However, this topic is full of propaganda that was made by Algeria. Firstly, the buffer zone is not controlled by Polisario. It was marked as a demilitarized zone by the UN after a peace agreement was made in the 1990s between Morocco and Polisario. you see that curvy line that is not just any line; it is the longest minefield in the world. It was created to prevent Polisario (Algeria) from attacking major cities in the south and to prevent terrorist groups that exist in southern Algeria and Mali from attacking Morocco. Despite the terrorist groups that exist in the south of Algeria and Mali, the south of Morocco remains safer than most European countries. Remember that peace agreement between Polisario and Morocco? it is no longer valid after Polisario broke the agreement in 2020. Morocco has since been cutting pieces of land and expanding the minefield. It is likely that Morocco will claim all of the land in the future. Algeria and Polisario have tried to stop this, but they failed miserably because of the advanced military drones that Morocco possesses. Historically, not only the south of Morocco belongs to us, but also half of Algeria was taken by France and added to Algeria as pieces of land from Tunisia, Libya, and Mali to create modern Algeria. This topic has become even more complicated as Morocco is currently trying to end France's colonial control over the African continent and remove their influence from Africa. France and its former colony are trying to prevent this, but they are facing opposition from Morocco, which is supported by the United States and Israel.

This vid is so thorough and informative but you didn't cover the entire topic , but now i wanna ask Imagine being conquered for centuries and centuries only because your people are too few , and when another colonizer comes the former one leaves ,and you have to fight forcefully to kick him and when you succeed the former conqueror comes and say " yaaaaaay, my colony i missed you so bad (tho I did nothing to free you but still ok) " When the Spanish came they found the saharawi people there, moroccans fled with their tails between their legs ,as it wasn't their righteous land , the saharaw people fought ferociously to gain independence and when the period of decolonisation came , spain was no exception and they had to retreat and give the land to the polisario front, soon after that morocco (that's been free since 1956 with a powerful army and good stability) never moved a soldier during the entire period of 19 year 1956-1975 , but for some reason when the Spanish left they remembered that land, Mauritania also wanted to expand their empire afterwards and wanted to annex some of the land saying it was theirs 😂( i wouldn't be surprised if Australia said the same and wanted to annex the land) Al-hassan II, the king of morocco wanted to share the land to end this problem all with Algeria and Mauritania, Algeria rejected and didn't want to join this crime, spain joined the line and claimed the fish wealth of the territory, Mauritania retreated due to some instabilities, and morocco expanded getting about 80% of the land and Spain still controls the airspace to this very day , the s.a.d.r is an integrated member of the african union ( and btw the king of morocco mohammed VI acknowledged this in 2017) The file of this issue is still in the U.N in the bureau of the decolonisation and the USA's recognition along with Israel are trying to disperse this issue asap I hope i could cover as much as possible of the points you didn't mention 🇪🇭❤🇩🇰

In some old maps, the 900 / 1000 KM wide strip from the NW tip of Africa right down to the African mainland's westernmost point, was labelled "Mauritania" - the land of the 'Moors'. When you consider that Andalus was effectively a part of that, it must have been an amazing, diverse place. Nowadays people in the UK complain that London is no longer a British city. They fail to see their own strength and success in bringing people together in a uniquely British matrix. All over the Muslim world people claim that their greatest achievement was to create cosmopolitan cities such as Cordoba and Baghdad - many centuries ago.

The Almohads used to say about their origin that they were pure Arabs. Abd al-Wahid al-Marrakshi (13th century AD), a contemporary of the Almohad state era, says in his book (Al-Mujab - FI - talkhis) of the News of Morocco”: “Abd al-Mu’min ibn Ali, the caliph of the Almohads, used to say his sermon when he mentioned Kuma (Kumi): I am not one of them, but rather we are Qays ibn Aylan ibn Mudar ibn Nizar.” Ibn Ma'ad Ibn Adnan, and we have the right of birth among them and origin in them, and they are maternal uncles. As for Al-Mahdi bin Tumart, the founder of the Almohad state, he used to describe his person and origin in all his letters and in his books by saying: “From Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Arabi Al-Qurashi Al-Hashimi Al-Hasani Al-Fatimi Al-Muhammadi.”

While there are phosphate mines in western Sahara the bulk of the Moroccan reserves exist on the northern part. As a Moroccan I can say that so far the region has been a burden on the taxpayer and not a benefit. I hope we get to exploit profitability the resources on the shores or this would've been a huge waste of time and resources

The whole world knows Western Sahara is a country of its own, recognized by the united nations and also the African union, infact the king of morroco recognize it in a document (to joing the African Union) thst he signed, also they have a chair in the AU, Ambassies around the world, Morocco acted on behalf of their colonizer/protector (France) since Morocco is still under the french protection from 1956-2056) to invade Western Sahara becasue of it's rich phosphate land.... where were the morocans when the polisario were fighting the spanish for their indipendance? as soon as they kicked the spanish out, morocco viciously invaded them with the help of france's weapons... thats a fact.

Appreciate the effort but too many inaccuracies, like @6:19 you showed a "gnawa" person when talking about the amazigh, Gnawa add descendents of ex slaves that were brought from the songhai empire in modern mali when morocco conquered it in 1591, and just before you showed him you showed a "tuareg" , tuaregs live in Southern algeria, libya and parts of Northern Mali and Niger, not morocco. And @6:32 you showed a painting of king abdelhafid of the current alaouite dynasty of morocco, dating back to the 1800s, while you were talking about the ancient state of moretanea, there are many remains from that era you should've used pictures of some coins or statues or atleast something relevant to what you're talking about, there are too many inaccuracies to count honestly, but I hope this will be a learning experience. Also,Most of morocco is actually green or mountainous

The historical part is correst. The posphate part is not. Raw phosphate revenues do not exceed 5 billion dollars a year. Moroccan top export is cars, then tech-services then phosphate based firtilizer. If the conflict is raw materials based as you think, then why you don't analyse Algerian Sahara which has the biggest natural gas and oil reserves in Africa? Bear in mind the Polizario front dont live in the military buffer zone, they live in Algerian Sahara where they are overfunded Algerian govrnment diplomatically and militarily using oil and gas money. Algerian exports are 95% oil and gas. In some sense you are swimming in Algerian oil and gas finance KZread Trend Waves. Just know that KZread is an actual technology not some dirty liquid in the ground.
