I like egg lead for grubs and bubble for fly. All personal preference and there's no wrong way to fish though, chee! Nice video
The water looked very calm, your first stop looked like Kahana bay and your second stop looked like hauula or close to hauula, lol. Glad you had fun catching the 2 small papio, no white wash at least. What you always say, Let them go to let them grow. Always looking forward to watching your utube channel. Thanks for sharing Brother! Blue brother here from Texas. My wife and I will be coming to Oahu at the end of May. Used to live in Waimanalo thirty years ago. That’s the last time I’ve seen Oahu. We are saltwater anglers on the coast of Texas and want to do some shore fishing while there for 8 days. Any location recommendations would be highly appreciated. Stay Safe my Red Brother!

All depends on what you going for and what style of fishing you going do. But if you going whipping or light dunking… in May… waimanalo Makai pier , Kailua (Lani Kai ) , or any beach going up to north shore should be nice. When it gets close you can try hit me up on Instagram
