Artist ANDREA KOWCH creates hauntingly beautiful, but often disquieting, images. Setting “Can’t Stop This Heart” as the musical underpinning for a number of her magical realism paintings transforms a poignant break-up song into something far darker, with a palpable sense of foreboding.
