Kool that she can talk about vocal influences.... It's another way Mori is humble because it shows her respect to other stars. In the end, it's how a singer can harness and blend influences to make it her own style and allow her hard work and talent to take it to her highest unique level. The fact that she CAN draw from other superstars should tell us that her talent and skill is at least in the same league. Frankly, Mori has skills of both Mariah AND Beyonce!! (Think depth, range, resonance, etc.) Case in point: Mariah couldn't do Love on Top, and I don't think Beyonce could do Through the Rain very well. Mori does both uniquely beautifully. Beyond that, she definitely has her own signature styles!! We await the next amazing chapters in her career!!

Dont read too much into it. She already has acknowledged that Mariah is a big musical influence to her. Just the fact that early in her career she covered a lot of Mariah songs attests to that. Actually this video is more about the techniques she uses when she performs and where she patterns it from. Then later it evolved into impersonations. It was all in good fun interacting with fans. The fans were egging her to sing like some of the artists she admire.

Oh c'mon technique can be learn that's why there are voice lessons ... But the physical aspect of how you use them can't be shared. Kahit ano pang turu or explanation ang ituro mo saakin kung hindi ako agile or hindi mataas ang range walang magbabago dun mas lalo na sa.vocal quality ko. Everyone can imitate her voice maybe( if they can) but no one can duplicate it.

I think she is better than Ariana.

Both are very talented, and do funny impersonations (check out Arianna doing them on Jimmy Fallon show). Both are humble and funny. Both are trying to max their talent in their careers. But Mori has slightly more range and power and can sing with more emotion and expression. Morever, Mori has more depth and resonance than Mariah in the lower registers, so is more talented than even Mariah. So if that's the case where does that place Ariana? But personal appreciation for vocals is really also a personal preference. Ferrari, Lambo or McLaren? Either way you win!!
