To those saying that Morissette is trying to ignore the idea that she is aware of her range, please think it all out. Morissette is definitely aware of how high and low she can go, it's just she isn't as technical as other musicians that measures the totality of her range. She even has no idea about the four or five octave thingy. Her point is, as long as she sings comfortably on the notes she's hitting then it's all good for her; she considers those notes as a part of her "vocal range" Thanks ❣️

I think that’s the beauty about Filipina singers, most of them aren’t really aware on the “technical” aspect of singing. Just the fact that almost all of these singers didn’t go through formal music lessons yet still manage to give us excellent variety of notes will tell how naturally gifted they are. They aren’t even aware that they’re already hitting a divine note, and I think that makes them even more great.

She obviously knows her full range and limits. Just last month on a livestream she was showing off her lowest note being Bb2. After Mariah pretending to not know her full vocal range in past interviews, others singers have taken her route pretending not to know either in order to appear more humble and unbothered despite constantly singing outside their confortable range to show off.

Well, it’s not that! I think real singers, just sing really! It’s the music that moves them, so they don’t really go around analyzing each note that they are singing all the time. So I think that is what she meant! Besides, thinking that about her says more about you than her. Because, She is a truly humble person - who knows what she can and cannot do, that’s all.
