Mori is my Ultimate Girl ,but you can't go wrong with either. Once Mori used a lyric from one of Tori's songs as an IG caption (He came to me like a Song) from "Change your Mind" . I thought she might cover it at some point, but so far she hasn't. I would, however, love to hear her sing it!Tori and Mori have a mutual friend (Aj Rafael). I wonder if someday they'll meet. yeah exactly both powerful middlebelters, with their own distinguished strengths and weaknesses.

Tori uses a brighter more nasal sound while mori uses a more belty sound. Also Mori is a full Lyric while Tori is a light Lyric so theres a difference in volume and weight. Also Tori vocal chords are healthier and she has more clarity while Mori has more vibrato while Tori has almost none. So they're both powerful but in different ways Not saying one is better just comparing the differences

True, nowadays, I only judge a singer by how they deliver the message of the song. Range don't matter that much. Best example of a singer who has a lited range but delivers ALL THE TIME is KZ Tandingan, who speaks the same language as Mori which is Bisaya. My Queens ♥️

B4 on i'll never love again is just the combination of that earsplitting resonance (in a good way) and a consistently (barely flawed) on point vibrato is just lit. and yeah clarity is for Tori and better runs too. so indeed ya can compare them but can't win an argument on who's better if you do. haha. kudos Maryah, from the novice that keeps gawking at your technical reviews.

Mori's agility isn't really considered as a weakness. She's agile, to be exact she's GOOD but NOT EXCELLENT in terms of runs. It's not that it is a weakness, she is agile but not as good as Tori. Same goes for Tori's belt she's Good but not as good as Mori's belt. But it's not also her weakness. Just my observation tho😅

No One mori is still struggling in her executions, she often times get out of control of her pitch. On that note, it is one of her weakness that needs to be developed. Same with tori with belting. Besides, mori’s belting has a lot to improve when it comes to technical aspect, same goes with tori.

@@NoOne-uc3xe yeah they're both naturally agile, it's just on how they use it. in one of Maryah's criticisms it's more of a question of good creativity and sometimes underutilization, cuz Mori seems more focused on belts, and her belted runs are usually on point. she goes pitchy on runs which are very subtle but she is improving though

Look and listen how different they sound on that note. It seems like they are not singing same note. It seems lower when mori sung it. Reason why i prefer her, also the vibrato, nevertheless both did an awesome job❤️

All singers,artist needs to belts in order to reached the notes what the hell your talkin about, tori has thin sound voice but her voice cannot be considered as versatile as mori. Mori can sing all kinds of a songs and types of a songs in different genre but tori cannot be classified to that because her voice sound can only be categorized by certain type for that matter.

Since this is a comparison video. I will go for Mori any day. Low notes, high notes, enunciation, power, tone, multi-genre singer, added flare, RESONANCE, mostly supported notes. Even her strained notes are still beautiful. She's also starting to write her own songs. She can deliver. She sung almost all of MC's difficult songs..as if it's easy to sing! Agile..you can't be an agile vocalist if you can't switch with ease. Dark and light tone. Emotions..She can sing Broadway and Disney but also Rock. She's improving continuously. Not her prime yet. She is illegally underrated...and more. Mori for me. 🙏💛

Having resonance is a huge factor. You are saying Mori is an okay vocalist, are you serious? Does Tori covered most of MC's difficult songs with ease? Send me some link so I can check and see. You are underestimating Mori's capability lol. You have no idea. Let Tori sing Fly Like a Bird with ease and in original key first before we can talk about her ability 2nd to MC.
