But for black people specifically. Because black people keep getting told from day one that they're specifically targeted and kept down by a racist system, but Morgan Freeman and Don Lemon are both millionaires and therefore proof that it's a lie. _"Just put your mind to what you wanna do and go for that."_ ~ *Morgan Freeman*

Schnitz wurst i get what he is saying but the problem is, race is already learnt by every adult. It needs to be unlearned and not taught to kids growing up. We need that “learnt identifier” for now to know what not to do,if that makes sense. We cant just say (for now at least) that it doesn’t exist, because that would just be ignorance. We can admit that we made a mistake though.

Think about who was president when this aired. Now think about who is president today and how CNN reports now and compare the two. Dem in office everything is low key and positive. Rep in office report on chaos, chaos and more chaos. Its purposefully done to make people want to go back to a more peaceful time.

This is exactly what they want from us divide and conquer. I grew up in a nieghborhood of mostly blacks me being in the only white family for blocks and we all had the same struggles and same problems. We need to focus on the struggles we all face together and unite as people not divide as race. this is the only way we will solve it. coming together and not focusing on the bad but focusing on solutions instead of creating problems.

He said this in an another interview: "we will end racism if we stop talking about it". I fully agree. We're focused too much on race. Why say black guy when we can just say guy. Edit: looking at the replies yeah this isn't 100% the solution, yes we should speak but thing is we focus on race TOO much but we shouldn't ignore all conversation about it. But we don't need black history month. Don't take my word for it, the man said it himself.

There is nothing wrong with racism. It's in the human nature, don't deny what you really are. Being a religious/ideological fanatic is the problem, not being a racist. It's like saying black people are under the racist pressure but at the same time calling Muslims a terrorist and criticize them anywhere in anytime. That's what's going on nowadays. People say they are not racist, but also majority of the society don't like Muslims, a small percentage literally hates them. Racism is everywhere, that's not just a black and white thing. There is racism in the Africa towards to white people, also in The Middle-East, East and Central Asia.

@@i8u323 your letting words hurt you … for instance the word nigga, imagine if NWA was offended by the word nigga. They might not have ever taken control of it. You still offended if someone calls you a nigga ? The point is, you are letting something that isn’t a big deal “words” hold you from something that’s a much bigger deal “success”. could you be offended sure be offended but the second you start letting that stop you from reaching a goal is the second that you are using racism as an excuse to not be successful. Like Morgan says here racism no longer stops you from obtaining wealth and being successful. A black man and women have the same chance as a white man and women to be successful, you just have to set your goal and go for it. Most black people don’t tho and that’s being embedded more and more into the culture of black family’s every generation. People blame racism for problems of black families (father leaving, being poor, violence, etc) these are caused all while in the community but yet many people believe that it is caused because of racism. In the end a black male and a white male at birth have the same chance of success, but almost immediately the black male is out at a disadvantage due to the fact that he will likely grow up without a father, then add in the fact that he will likely grow up poor and not understanding money, then add in that he will have to struggle to not become a part of gang and drug violence then add in that his mother will probably treat him unfairly due to their circumstances because black women have often been show to treat their children tougher due to the inability to be able to deal with stresses that white women typically don’t need to deal with (no father around dangerous neighborhoods) I mean all these problems are black caused problems. What needs to happen for black people to get a fair shot, is accountability, stop letting black men who are going to leave you sleep with you, only have sex after marriage if you have too and that’ll create a society where they need to give you commitment before they can give you a child. The problems are within and the second black people accept that fact is the second they will be able to start working towards fixing it. I am white with a black father, he wasn’t around much and I can honestly tell you it affected me a lot but I had no idea. I hung out with the wrong crowd was always in trouble, my mom slandered my dad so I though he hated me. But one day my mom was so angry with me she told me to go with my father and I did for a super bowl party. I didn’t really know what to say or do because I hadn’t really talked to him for most of my life and when I did he used to beat me and what not so DCYF took his privileges away. Anyways I went with this man and being more grown up I started asking questions and telling him about what I had been going through and what not. The way he answers me and the things he said dawned a new prospective on me. He explained to me that he always will be there for me and always had been and showed me situations where it showed, he showed me that I’m not always in the wrong and that adults can be wrong. But the thing he did the most and he didn’t even know he did it was, he held me accountable and showed me that what I was doing wasn’t cool and that he had been down that path and hopes that he never goes back down that path. He showed me that where I was headed was no where good and that he wouldn’t be happy with it. For the first time I had a father and it changed my fucking life, I cleaned up my act and stopped hanging around kids I felt might get me in trouble and what not. I actually became more likeable because I stopped dealing others approval and just started being myself. He changed my life in 8 hours of spending time with him and I needed it. Boys need men and there is no substitute no matter how hard a women works towards it, it won’t be the same. In order for that to happen the black community needs to hold black men accountable for not being their for their kids and holding father responsibilities, also women need to be more caring and understanding in the black communities, they have created a hard bone over the years of the 50s to become tough for racism and now they no longer need it but still they carry it. What does that do ? Well you ever ask why black men like white women so much ? It’s because white women have that bone, black women and white women are both bestifuk but white women are softer more compassionate more understanding and there for you, men don’t need someone to be tough we are already that, we need someone to raise our children and be there when we are extremely stressed to calm us down, you give a man (man not some gangbanging tough guy) that and he’ll carry the world for you. I KNOW THIS IS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND I WISH I COULD BREAK IT DOWN SIMPLY BUT MY PASSION JUST MAKES ME JUST DTART TYPING AND I CANT STOP. Hopefully it helps you probably won’t read it tho and that’s part of the problem

Hard to work for a better life if you are stuck making Nikes and Iphones for 10 cents an hour. Or getting an education when your home has been destroyed by an American drone. Hard to make a better life when the CIA deliberately smuggles crack cocaine into your neighborhood and you're given harsher prison sentences for lesser crimes because of the colour of your skin. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be born in the right place with the right skin colour.

Words like these are fruitless coming from smart, attractive, and charming people. What about the ugly, retarded creeps like myself? I guess I could get rich by going into the sex slave trade business, dealing drugs, or selling health insurance, but even I have standards. Honestly though, I think the biggest problem is nobody enjoys being alive anymore, and being too big of a coward to kill ourselves, we resort to trying to make people feel as shitty as we do. It's not easy being an ugly, retarded creep. And with abortions getting harder and harder to get, there's just going to be more like me in the future.

truth is when your white you obviously don’t see race you think now that we live in a post race society race is not a major factor, and that’s fine truth is half of this comment section should Bite the dust by 2050 the problem is that it’s harmful to future generations who believe Morgan’s freeman interpretation, of course your work ethic plays a factor in success but so does race and culture, we see the with black figures like OJ Simpson who disassociated his race with success, and threw future generations below the bus because he refused to recognize race in American society especially during such a polarizing time for black Americans. You CANNOT ignore race in America not in a million years, no matter what it would always play a role. It’s insane how much you guys can’t grasp these basic concepts. Apartheid In South Africa was outlawed during the 90’s that is extremely recent, but I get it your brought in a environment which denies the claims I’m making, I just hope you understand that these concepts you hold will die along side with you.

NOT TRUE!! Supporting Hillary goes against everything MF believes. Hillary is for altruism, Hillary believes in taking from Paul to give to Peter when she has NEVER worked a day in her life. The Clintons don't offer any goods or services. Anyone who says they can save you, make your life better are lying to you. It's a form of altruism, only someone who truly loves you can sacrifice for you... otherwise, it's a form of enslavement. That is why Trump is not liked by some conservatives... they like some of his policies... but they know Trump is a progressive. Morgan suffers from what most limousine liberals suffer from, GUILT! Hollywood liberals feel guilty for making so much money for really doing NOTHING! So, they start their foundations, they want to save the planet while polluting the sky in their private jets, they raise billions of dollars, like Leonardo DiCaprio only to find out they've now become too greedy to stop themselves. Also, a lot of these Hollywood celebrities are tied to the Clinton FNDTN, as well as many of the people in the media. The folks in the media all give to the Clinton FNDTn while the people in Haiti starve in live paper huts while the Clintons go off on their orgy island tours, sleep in fancy hotels, eat their fancy dinners, protected by secret service... and all paid for by tax payers, foreign donors and those in the corrupt corporate media and social media who want their tax breaks and access to the political elites. I can go on and on. I hope this message gets to you in time before you vote for the MOST corrupt career politician to ever seek the presidency. As far as the topic of race and redistribution of wealth, the constitution allows EVERY American citizen the right to prosperity. Happiness is subjective, but no one is stopping anyone from being successful in America, even MF says it, not so loud, but pretty damn clear. As far as race is concerned. Get this through your head. RACE DOES NOT EXIST. RACE IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT. Race has become a wedge issue in American politics devised to keep black and latinos feeling like victims all the time. Every four years politicians come back around asking for their votes. Like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football, but the football is always moved.
