Jason, you may get kodaks attention quicker to bring back Aerochrome if you start drinking Caffenol on camera, or go on a hunger strike. Do it for us.

The color grading of the video is just on point with the film photos, so seamless experience. Great work !!!
I am honestly just “watching” these for the sound beds and relaxation.
This is what I imagine the grainydays movie documentary will be like
This is perfect primer material for Oppenheimer (or Barbie). On a serious note though, I really enjoy this vlog style video that gives a little more BTS of shooting and editing videos. 👍👍
love that the aspect ratio of the video is a pano as well!
I really enjoyed how laid back and relaxed this one was. great video
Absolutely loved the conversion of the first negative in NLP. It would be cool to see such things more often in your videos.
Those Portra 800 panos slapped harder than a dominatrix convention, exceptional stuff mate! Also loved your aercochrome stills, you've got that stock figured out nicely.
Love the variation in video format, as well as the xpan photos you’re producing here. Also, this really makes me miss living in NorCal. Thanks for the great videos as always.
I really appreciate the time spent showing both your thought process before shooting, and how that hangover had HANDS - true to life
Love the movie Primer. I love how simple and easy it is to follow the plot. You don't even really need to pay attention.

Jason, I love the laid back vibe of this one. Your big journeys and road trips are fantastic, don't get me wrong! But I'm enjoying the cut back approuch to this one
I know a lot of people rave about aerochrome for the different colors of foliage. But for me, those deep _deep_ blue skies and water tones just slay me every time.
@16:27 Seawood Photo!!! Love this store
I love the widescreen res! I would love to see more of it. Please don’t stop :)
love the new video style, love the wide format of the video. love your channel. love film. love your pictures. big fan!
Great photographs man. Really nice aesthetic, you have really nailed shooting on the wide aspect ratio. As one of "them" I have been trying to justify getting a Sirui Venus 35 mm anamorphic lens to do a similar-ish thing, but have not yet succeeded.
Primer have been on my "to watch" list for a while. A sci-fi movie made on a $7k budget is enough to catch my curiosity.

Primer is a great example of story telling good enough doesn’t need millions of dollars to translate it to screen.
Really loved this photos in this one. 13:00 for example, so cool. and 13:15. Love the architecture and framing.
Always a shiver down my spine watching you put the lens on, Im so precious with mine because I still use dslrs fairly often and don’t want to be cleaning my sensor
Man this video is shot and graded so crisply. I love it
Whatever lens you are using now to record these is excellent. Cinematic AF
Frank Lloyd Wright approves. In all honesty, your shots of Marin Civic Center are amazing, but the way you make a regular suburban neighborhood look dope deserves real props...and a flaming hot Mountain Dew.
Dude specked into cinematography hard! Those recent wide format videos are gorgeous!
This video is amazing I cant believe how beautiful this whole video is
Just got finished with the gig. Time to sit back and relax
I really like the X-Pan/gold combo - for what it’s worth, I think it had a very painterly ; (dare I say it!) “cinematic” quality.
I really like this format of your videos, the vlog style is a good change of pace
This channel makes me feel things. Thank you.
At 20:13 I was thinking "huh, that reminds me of somethi-" AND THEN you pull up the exact thing lmao - nice. Cool shots, like chill vibes on this one, looking forward to seeing the next trip!
I would love to own an XPan. The photos of yours are just magic. Congrats!
I loveeee the mini edit of the xpan shot going from negative scan to end result
This video was a work of art man! Really enjoyed the vibe. Tangerine Dream meets Tycho with FLW. Chef kiss.
these photos go haaaard
Marin County Civic Center is a Gem of Architecture design by the Master Architect Frank Llyord Wright - Your Xpan photos are so captivating and inspired- Glad to see through your lens that this building is still in such good shape and remain its origins in taste and form.
The little animation to reveal the edit was fire
Those building interior shots 😍🥰👍
Those opening shots are probably my favorite of yours so far.
I just found you a couple days ago, but I think you might be my favorite youtuber now!
Seawood Photo. Being from Michigan; where the camera shops of old are long gone - this place is so cool to me. In Michigan there's a guy that another guys knows who knows another guy that Mamiya RB67's. At Seawood a RB67 repair is a common thing. Northern California is great place to be. Also - I enjoyed your different format on this one. You haven't made a vid I didn't enjoy. Thank you. You've made many cups of coffee that much better, dude.
Nice editing! Pure Chill.
Its honestly really tough to photograph well in downtown Chicago that isnt just buildings/ladscapes or just street portraits. I live here and have tried dozens of times. My best was from being in a highrise at sunset near the lake and taking a pic of all the enlarged building shadows on the water. But again that’s still landscape/architecture in nature.
Unbelievably good video thankyou jason
The second cow photo @19:55 is so cool! 😱😵💫☀️
Like these shots a lot! Upping your x pan game for sure…
I loving this new video style you are doing
Lmao that quip about Primer, I had to pause the video for a bit. That movie is something else
Awesome video! Liked the animation of the negative lab pro in the beginning of the shooting🔥 Thank you for showing us the burger wrap supreme tutorial lol
Ouch ... Poor Xpan. I'd be so upset if I dropped an Xpan. I loved that interior location at the end.
So a Compact 120 and fun camera to try is the Voigtlander Bessa II (it’s a 6 X 9 vintage folding camera with a color skopar 105mm f3.5 lens) I own one and I think it’s an excellent camera for the trip you described in your plan in this video 😁
For stuff where I can't bring a full sized medium format camera but I want medium format I've found TLR's are a good compromise. I've found that they take up similar amounts of space as a 35mm slr. Their brick like shape make it easy to stuff into and pull out of a crowded bag since there's less stuff poking out to snag on. But a TLR and 6x6 isn't for everyone.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 so well made
Fantastic work! Does anyone know what wide Lens the house/vlog bits of this vid are shot on? Thanks!
I'm liking the 21:9 or whatever ratio this is for a change - it's a better fit for my phone and my ultrawide monitor. It's kind of fun the ratios shift video to video though.
that cow shot... *chefs kiss*
Wow the aerochrome shots looked incredible. Awesome video dude!
i absolutely love the NLP editing
Would love to know what lens is being used to film this
ooooh the aerochrome ending...NICE!
I sold my Mami 7 and bought a GF670. Best decision ever, fits in my coat pocket or the front zip pocket of my leica billingham bag. 6x7 everywhere, and a nicer lens IMO
I recognize that building its the frank lloyd wright expo building? It was used in the movie gattaca a lot. But it also reminds me of his office building in Kenosha/Racine. Its retro yet futuristic.
I have to know what lens you are using on your video camera
I need to know what lens you're using for the video part, they look so good
On what lens did you film the viedo looks great
Housesitting with a dog is never housesitting, it’s dog sitting with accommodation provided. Even if you love doggos, it’s a slog at times. Those interior shots on Porta were gorgeous. The overcast Aerochrome shots were interesting, better even exposure and saturation but I was missing that rich sky blue. You should make the replacement Windows XP wallpaper available for download (for a nominal fee, of course. Baxter needs his snackos.)
What lens are you using to record the vlog? loving the sort of bokeh falloff on the edges
Anyone know where the film is not dead shirt is from?
There's something about beers, burger, lo fi and shutters that made me sleep for 10min so far, time to rewind.
the rolleiflex is very small for how epic it is. A rolleiflex and a rangefinder fit in the smallest camera bag insert i have. I think you could fit your digital and those 2 in your tank bag no problem
Guys, do you know what kind of setup is he using for the video - camera, lens, filter etc.. I know that is part of the magic not sharing it but... It's soo good!
Hey Jason, I also got TSA Pre-Check very recently and it was delightful. Should we do a collab review on our TSA Pre-Check experience whilst syphoning Kool-Aid into our arms? (5'5" btw haha)
whats the focal length that you use for filming indoors?
What lens or filter were you using on the backyard video shots? I love the hazy blurries...
god damn ,amazing work,u r a artist now Jason
What video camera and lens did you use to shoot this video?
What, no flaming hot Mountain Dew… the humanity! 😂 But seriously those were some nice shots. Loved the cow one. Looking at you ‘like what you doing there bud.”
Thanks for another video!
Hi bro what lens are you using for video.
the quality goes so hard
where is this first location? Anyone know what it is called?
nicely done! our path will cross somewhere down the line.
are you using a anamorphic lense, or a overlay/filter to get the distortion in your widescreen videos, it looks awesome and i love the style
Jason what lens do you shoot your anamorphic footage with
Konica Pearl IV. Smallest medium format folder I could find, beautiful glass, weird placement for shutter button
So good man.
What camera do you use to record for the wide shots of your videos ?
This channel should be called Nerd Boys with Nerd Toys
Where did you get the film is alive shirt though? :D
My first thought when you too the photo of the hills was “oh yea, windows XP” Glad to know we are on the same wavelength
Excellent pics man!
Your nat sound design is awesome
What was the camera set up??
I can't help but think some of your medium format needs for the motorcycle trip may be a great fit for a folding 120mm camera like the Agfa Isolette.
The windows chime caught me off guard and I choked on my drink
