when unions workers ask too much and strike to cause the ripple effect of other suppliers and manufacturers to lose tons of jobs, i think they are just as greedy as the executives or even worse

And when Management gives themselves raises and bonus checks equaling a 40 percent raise while the workers have given up many benefits during the 2008 crash and during COVID it's time for the workers to push back for what is right. So no there not greedy there just asking for what they gave up to keep the company running during lean times

You multiply 74 to 80 dollars per hour for forty hours times 52 weeks and it's 5 times the median income in this country of 31,000 dollars. I have to say UAW is way out of line in their demands. The average person in this country is just getting by and this is with help to pay the utilities and to buy food.

Do any of those strikers look hungry to you? This is about greed. Look back at history and during all economic crises, the union strikes. What I am sure about is that this is political and falls in line with controlling labor. Do not be surprised if the automakers do not move more of their operations out of the country. They already have sites in Mexico assembling, so manufacturing is getting easier and more cost-effective. Unions have been the demise of many businesses and the reason for the increase in cost of goods, autos, refrigerators, freezers, and other appliances.

Of course they don't look hungry. Look at any footage of them working the assembly line. It's the most lackadaisical atmosphere. Nobody is working hard. These fools are delusional to believe they are worth what they are demanding. Hell, they aren't even worth what they were already receiving.

@@momoneyinvesting A large portion of CEO pay is performance based. If the stock is doing good, they are getting paid. Tim Cook at Apple made almost $200 million in 2021 and 2022 combined. But I'm sure half the workers on the picket line aren't complaining one bit as they walk around with their $1,000 iPhones.

This strike is selfish. Thousands of shops nationwide are facing layoffs due to this. Many are not members of a Union and will not see any benefits after this. Only layoffs, unemployment, struggles to get paid unemployment benefits, and less money contributed to our 401Ks. They need to think about their fellow Americans and not just themselves, end the strike, get back to work, so we can get back to work and support Our own families

Striking will help everyone in the long run. Quit saying we’re being selfish and educate yourself on the reason why Unions exist and how they’ve set the path for the wages we all make now. Without Unions you’d probably be working 7 days a week for 5$ an hour.
