Chatted with a Filipina from Duma and her rent is a tiny bit less than $80 per month. It must be a pretty horrible place.

The only downside about retiring too early is that you’re not paying into the system so eventually down the road if you live to be 70 or 80 those very benefits that would’ve sustained you to a certain point will be very little because of bailing out too early and not paying enough into the system You won’t hardly have any Social Security. Medicare won’t be there for you when you’re young. You don’t think about that. You just wanna retire and quits and have fun but eventually down the road point where you’re probably kick yourself in the ass for retiring too early and now not having the benefits of certain things that you could’ve had so I guess it goes both ways but I know over here that came here in their mid 40s that probably won’t hardly see any Social Security and no Medicare will be available to them even if they fly back to the US because they never paid in enough

Alot of friends have die as soon as they retire at 60is years old I was lucky I retire at 45 years ago i am 60 years now

Hey Gio, I have a question regarding debt. I spoke to one Filipina and her mother got sick needed hospital care. The family hadn't money to pay the bill. She then took a loan from her neighbour who owns a shop. She now works two jobs to pay off the debt however the interest is too high. Whenever her montly paychecks come in she pays but she never receive a receipt with an overview of the remaining debt balance and dates of debt payments. I told her this is not normal that she should receive on paper or digital an overview each month. She said no this is the Philippines. I dsagree with her because her story doesn't make sense. Indonesia is also poor but there they work with some administration to show you how much debt is left and what has been paid. Or else in her case her shop owner can lie to her and pretend she never payed a dime and she could because there is no proof of payments. But then again she herself could not pay anymore because there is no signed agreement/contract for the loan, haha. Anyhow, what is the normal way ot loaning and paying of debt in the PH? Is a verbal agreement good enough?

Newbie here! Love your content Gio. Greetings from USA. Personally, time is invaluable. You cannot put a value on time. It is our most priceless resource. You can’t make more time. The funny thing is when you think about it, it’s a bit ironic because you can use your time to make more money, but you can never turn around and use that money to buy more time. There will always be more money out there to earn, but as for time, it runs out for us all eventually. Go with me on this one: You need time to spend your money. 🤗🤗🤗
