@@mattdelany6799 - I beg to differ. If there is a fast enough current wide enough for the car, it can happen. I've been in a car when it did slide off. There was no railing on the bridge. The water was not deep, & we were the only ones on it or my mother would not have risked it. She went right down the middle but it started to float a bit to the right. I wasn't old enough to drive but I was old enough to be aware of the situation. Fortunately, we got our wheels hung in a crevice on my side of the bridge, so we didn't get pushed completely off, but we quickly had water in the car. And this was no small compact car, either. We were able to carefully get out on the bridge side but a tow truck had to help get all four wheels back on the bridge.
