Namjoon "friends" called him u*ly right before he came to room. It's not added here. The song AWAKENING from RMs first mixtape. He talks about these friends in that lyrics. Namjoon went through a lot. Namjoon was in 2 bands at predebut time too. I am proud of him.

Now I know why BTS had so many haters in their own country. The only thing BTS did was walking on a special path instead of path the idols used to walk. But most of people didn't need to accept that. RM is the best leader BTS can have ever. I'm glad they finally made it and watching this with Maxinese family really inspires me. The story of bangtan provide so much positive energy to the world. Army forever 💜💜💜💜💜

You guys are correct on the part where Namjoon met his peers. If you just watch the whole clip of that video they backstabbed him, especially his physical appearance saying he is the ugliest in their group. Imagine your colleague or the people you used to make music together say that to you? Happy they filmed that and Namjoon finds out.

The hate was too much. No one deserves so much hate and its heartbreaking when JK and suga talked about missing their parents and their home. Watching their growth makes you realize that no one is perfect and the boys are also human beings, not robots. They struggled so much to reach that perfection in their life and career. They have such different personalities but all of them have such humble, caring and loving nature. And they all show it differently. I feel so mad whenever I watch those certain clips. But people who are new army's, these episodes are gold for them. Even though they don't show everything, it gives u a glimpse of their pain and the tough journey that they had to make to reach the point of success that they have today.

I remember the times when things were so low for them and they received insane amount of hates to the point that RM used to translate the hate comments into positive ones to the members so they don't get hurt

When you get to know namjoon more, you will fall in love with him deeply💜💜

This episode shows what JK meant to FESTA that RM really struggled and worried a lot when they debut (in their earliest days/years) as he was the leader of their group. I think he worries a lot because of those people who look down on them. Imagine even the people you used to work with, started to bad-mouth you behind your back. What will you feel? Cuz me too, if my peers humiliate me in front of other artists and tons of audiences my determination to succeed will elevate. I want to prove that they were all completely wrong. So, I really admire his determination and courage. I want to say to him that he did a great job and I am proud of him. He carried those responsibilities at a young age. Now, I understand why Jungkook always thanks him and admires him the most.

The part where namjoon met his "friends" really hurts me. It breaks my heart. Seeing and hearing your underground friends mock and laugh at you instead of cheering and praising you. His 1st mixtape, RM, has a lot of songs/ lyrics for them.

Namjoon brought me to BTS 💜 I can never imagine there's man with the most kindest hearts, sincere and hardworking like him. When he sad he always hide his feelings from the boys

The full interview where he talks to his peers, is painful. He is walking in thinking these guys are his friends and they just talk down to him at every turn, including supreme boi, I’m shocked he is still with them after this. And of course he remains respectful thru all of it💜

I always see exfans or just fans of bts saying "oh, I miss their old music", but I feel like one thing I love is that their music has become deeper and deeper over time. They have more messages and more heartfelt lyrics that ever. During the first few years of bts, they definitely had amazing songs and some lyrics that had great meaning, but a lot of the songs were just about a boy trying to get a girl. Of course it definitely matched with the school theme they were going for, and they still wrote the lyrics, and songs that did have deeper meanings, but I love the fact that they go so much deeper now.

i agree, i think some people just refuse to see them mature in their career and as a person. they want them to continue to portray the old immature, crackhead self. but in life, everyone goes through a season of change. bts' are no exception to that. after all they and all of us are just humans

I've been an ARMY since they debut and been an RM fan since 2012 when he kept uploading random videos on KZread. My first impression of them was... WOW! I actually liked the song and music video. Heard their whole album and I loved every song. And that's rare. I usually like 1 or 2 songs from a kpop artist but with them I loved all of it.

im still at 16:28 so i still dont know if they showed that clip but namjoon's so called "friends" really talked shit while namjoon was still not there, calling him the ugliest member and stuff and it will just really hit ur nerves if u ever see that clip cause the AUDACITY oh my gosh, namjoon was really excited to meet them again but theyre just talking shit about him behind his back

youre right about those peers. Subs are quite subtle but they are more sarcastic towards namjoon, they literally said "How can you go outside with the makeup just like bitches?" Namjoon had lots of bashing/hate comments from his peers/hiphop scene and Idol scene. I'm glad he survived from the time.. In korea, idol fans don;t just call bts "survived from hell" with no reason

BTS' managers have been well loved by old ARMYs. Of you can recall the chef episode in Rookie King which you recently reacted to, the funny guy judge from the cooking challenge was their first manager. Bangtan even attended his wedding. In this video, you can see Manager Sejin at the back, he's now the head of a department in BigHit. And, each member now gets amtheir own manager haha.

13:15 i'm very relived that you remember that even though BTS needed to pass the "checklist" was not so extreme, compared to the biggest companies it was pretty light, i think (we can never be 100% sure but visually they just grew older i don't see plastic surgery or other extremes things on the boys, i think they are very natural). And everyone needed to pass through this "checklist" of visuals, even in the west it's not just in South Korea, that's doesn't mean that this is ok but we know how it works in the industry of enternaiment.

About rules for BTS: For them I think it's actually much like elementary school. The best way to create classroom rules is to discuss as a class what the students think are important so they are invested in the rules instead of having them imposed from above. Hearing BTS say things like We agreed to not post when drunk makes me think it may be something like that with them. Once they were a group. I bet trainee life is all rules from management. Anyway, just this educator's thoughts.

Yeah i actually imagined it as such as well. If what bang PD said in the previous episode is true, that he did not impose any rules on them regarding how many hours to practice or how they should live their life and that he left it up to them, i could only assume that these were discussed among themselves with their determination for success being the driving force in deciding and pushing themselves.

i already had teary eyes but once i saw marisol was holding back her tears i fully sobbed😭💜

If I ever have children, I will put videos of Namjoon giving speeches because this man really is an inspiration and a good role model.

Bts is different , but not only them. You don't have to think that there is only bts in k-pop, who writes music by themselves and writes about important things. Bts wasn't first and not last one. The reason why they became so popular is not only about music and lyrics, there are other reasons such as they're characters, fun, Interaction etc.

When I watched this docu series for the first time I fell in love but i was like "but for people who don't know them so well it'll be hard to see that the explanations about kpop and the industry and the way koreans see all this don't apply that much for the boys" people can confuse that they were like everyone but the point they want to show is exactly the contrast, how they were different from everyone else and that's why they could explode the way it was.
