We have a Friary in my area where they were sending out a newsletter for some of the things going on there. The Brother who was writing the newsletter signed the end with a little blurb regarding himself as a Catholic Friar as well as a practicing buddhist. That was a real head scratcher and I couldn't wrap my head around what that really meant. There is such a depth of mystic knowledge in Catholicism that I cannot understand why someone would go and seek ideas of Buddha, but that people do not know more than the surface level of Catholic Meditation, prayer, and spirituality.

Such a shame that this side of Christianity is somewhat unknown! Meditation and enlightenment is always associated with Hinduism and Buddhism. We need to push this and make it known! I think the reason a lot of people fall away from the church or are put off is because mainstream Christianity can seem quite bland and just a bunch of rules. It is so much more than that and I pray to our glorious God that more and more people will experience his presence and realise the beauty of traditional Christianity 🙏🏼🫶🏼🥰

I just started going to Mass at ALL, and it’s the Latin Mass and I will go to the Greek Orthodox Mass to experience it as well. I absolutely love it, coming from nondenominational and I’m learning more about our Christian heritage more than ever now. I’m over the moon.

I don't have a problem with the Latin Mass although it was long ago but people who go run down the ordinary mass and the priests is wat puts me off going got does not restrict his blessings he is greater than that
