@@TheScaleModeler Agreed. Vietnam War diorama building has been, shall we say, very one-sided.
Nice touch of you to include a paper model. Orlik is one of the best editors of paper models after Modelik and Halinski (my personal experience). Thank you!

I think 1/144 scale is a little too small for an aircraft model. It doesn't seem to have much detail, which I think is disappointing.

The model of 1/72, 1/32, 1/48 scales have always been a favorite of mine. My biggest aircraft model I think was a 1/72 scale B-36 Peacemaker. It had 2 foot long fuselage and a 3 foot long wingspan. That is where you need hangars on the ceiling to display such a large aircraft.

@MichaelW.Keller that is certainly a considerable size model . IMO that would have suited 1/144 but yes a bi-plane in 1/144 for instance is minute
