New map without a water lane? this does not get Vanaja seal of aproval

I always thought it was common sense to put down 2 fusions to get the advanced converters going and then make the afus' once you got a solid line of T2 units up to hold the front.

This is true but some claim that putting 10 fusions is better than 2 fusion and then only afus. I definitely not agree with that. Tops 3 fusion after that it's a waste. Yes u can build fus faster but is it really 3x faster? I don't think so. Even if it is, is it worth that 3-4k metal u are losing making the inefficient fus? Who ever claims otherwise let's do an eco fight lmao. I shouldn't be arguing about these things. People will just all make fus and I will always be able to outscale them even easier 😇😇

​@@and-for_GoDI tend to switch from fus to afus once I have 9 - 16 nanos which ends up being by 2 - 4 fus depending on front pressure. Never tried the 10 fusion method though, and maybe being able to reclaim that metal could be well worth it. "Inefficient" power sources can become way more efficent if reclaimed

Then u might as well stay on advanced solar panels. They almost have the same efficiency. Based on their arguments Solars are better than fusion and afus. U Can do the math

​@@and-for_GoDthey arent as space efficient but I usually make a butt load of A solar, then switch to fusion rapidly and then rapid switch to AFUS. Makes for almost no down time

If its a messy game where units are leaking I will build my turrets in clumps of 4 and stay on fusion until I have about 5 of them spread out. Having 1 pawn blow up the entire eco is a fast way to loose.

This was a mutant/wacky lobby on Friday night. I think we left the resources alone but map was inverted !

Yep, we didnt mess with the resources at all. We inverted the map and had emp rework, legion, and extra units on

I'm a fan of the assimilator. 330 dps which is good against spam. But its 303% against air so effect AA is 1k DPS. The though was en-masse mobile anti-dragon.

That's crazy, I've never used the assimilator but seems like itd be a better dragon counter than the razors. Also their model is cool, it looks like an assimilated razorback

I cannot understand reclaiming frontline units unless they're completely obsolete even as fodder. That's too clever for me lol.
