so i re-watched your video as i did a load work up with that powder\bullet combo. started at 35.4 and .3 increments up to your weight and i saw 2894fps with a SD11.3. I'm in the northeast, at sea level and was about temp 81 with dewpoint 57. group was okay and will take a look around that and play with seating depth. this was in my Seekins, 26" barrel and I was able finally get the MDT BR Mag to feed reliably for the first time.

If you are trying to split hairs as far as group size, a smaller point of aim might help. I use a circle drawing template and a sharpie to create a circle that my target dot fills up at 100yds. At least it makes me feel like I'm aiming small. Really enjoy your videos, thanks.

I may have to spray some water mist around my rifle next range session if it produces groups like the first one you shot! For targets I like to draw a small purple circle with a white center (" o ") with a sharpie. You also might like the USBR target that has green printing, 25 bullseye circles and three top sighters.

Don't worry about getting the video out for a specific time...life happens. I am curious how your lathe is working out. I need something for another job and some precision work and thought i'd get something to do some barreling work. I think you said you had a G9972Z and wondering if there is any barrel work that you can't do with that lathe? Thanks for any feedback. I'm starting to look into building something custom and a lathe would sure help.

I actually ended up selling my grizzly and bought a 12x36 lathe. The small grizzly lathe would do everything up to like a heavy Palma barrel. If you keep a look out you can find a good deal on a 12x36.

Have you tried h4350 yet? It's all I use in my 6 bra. Start about 32 grains. You just might be surprised.

Those bullets usually do best from .010" into the lands to .010" jump. The bullet will not stick loaded into the lands that small amount as long as you are competent at finding touch.
