More Lady Gaga protests, now in Philippines
(18 May 2012) They're chanting against Lady Gaga in Manila.
That continues the pattern of protests dogging sold-out shows that's followed the megastar across Asia as she's launched her Born This Way Ball tour.
Last month authorities in Seoul barred fans under the age of 18 from attending her gig because her lyrics and costumes were too sexually provocative.
In majority Muslim Indonesia she had to pull out altogether, as pressure from Islamic hard-liners and conservative lawmakers prompted authorities to deny her a concert permit.
Gaga herself appeared unruffled by the fuss as she arrived in Taiwan earlier in the week for her two concerts taking place in the world trade center in Taipei.
But in the Philippines, where she's due to head next, the founder of the Christian group Biblemode Youth wants to block her

Biblemode youth also plans a fresh protest march and vigil in Manila Saturday night.

I'm a Filipino Little Monster and I am very ashamed of what the people from Manila made. I mean, they don't exactly know Lady Gaga, they just know what she is doing famously in public. I think they didn't know that she is a very genuine and kind person, she supports the LGBT community and also has a foundation. She is also very hard working to make us happy...

I, on the other hand, am very proud of these Filipino people in taking a stand against the mainstream pop culture hivemind that Lady gaga's heavily involved with. These ideals are foreign and un Filipino - like so it's only natural that gaga will be met with patriotic resistance. And please, let's not pretend as though Stefani Germanotta is such a clean cut individual because for starters, she's good friends with - and has been mentored by - Marina Abramovich herself, a well - known satanist. I mean, you people call it so yourselves - that you guys are monsters; so nothing good could ever come from your lying, ignorant and persecuting tongue. Christianity has always been the counter culture and are ever the true victims of opression, in a way you lgbt folk could never be.

as a born again this is not the right way to oust a person, the right way is to pray for a person who do u think have committed sin or did something sacrilegious. Also hate is not the way you have to pray for them and ask God to humble ur heart :) just my opinion

We are committed sin. We are sinners. I found Gaga was just really amazing talented woman in music industry. Her Chromatica Ball Tour was so perfect with no violations. Syempre bago pa lang kasi siya noon, hindi pa siya kamo masyadong kilala ng mga nagpo preotesta at iba pa, kaya sobrang uso siya noon at may mga nagki criticize din sa kaniya tulad ng mga relihiyoso at ibang Filipino na napaka judgmental. But moe, nakalaya na siya at patuloy siya sa mga ginagampanang papel niya sa Entertainment. I love super talented Lady Gaga

Correction: Because Lady Gaga is super talented woman in entertainment industry. Girl, you haven't been updated about Gaga's achievements. Her art, music, choreography and acting is really amazing.
