In grad school, there was a Pakistani PhD student who always wore the most beautiful robes. The embroidery and tailoring was so impeccable, I would always compliment her.

I just learned that France has banned the wearing of hijab by women under 18, and hijab mother's can not chaperone field trips. That hijab women can no longer ask for female doctors for religious purposes. My heart breaks. I am so sorry that for people who talk about tolerance and understanding are stomping on your faith. Thank you for all you teach and share.

Yeah its really sad and unfair :( And the funny part is that everyone speaks ab human rights and stuffs like that Idnk if a women is free to show her body or hair or whatever to others why cant she cover them then? Its her body and her right !

Unfortunately racism is winning in a lot of countries. It’s disgusting that they treat other human beings like this! It’s going to go badly and devastatingly for a lot of women (and their families) with health problems and concerns if they don’t already have female drs they regularly see. This will stop them going to drs because of the utter disrespect of not being allowed to choose a female dr.

Isn't it the reverse in Iran where 74 floggings for women who don't wear hijab. Some threw acids on non hijabis. Still they have to wear hijab.. Even non hijabis can't do official work. Even in Afghanistan the same case I think it's quite justified.

William, that was beautiful! I was cleaning the bathroom and just kind of listening to the Q&A, not really watching but enjoying it never the less. When you started reciting the Quran I immediately stopped what I was doing and gave you my full attention. Makes me want to change my ways and seek a higher meaning and purpose. Wow. That just raddled me to my core. Thank you for sharing. 💜

Yes absolutely, it takes courage to wear your heart on your sleeves... Once, I have seen a Hindu monk praying at an airport while everyone was staring but he didn't stop... That incident has affected me so much and since then I am also wearing my heart on my sleeves, if people have problem then it is their problem.

I live next to Dearborn Michigan, which has the most concentrated Muslim population in North America, so as a kid id often see small grocery stores & restaurants with signs that said halal meat and not having a clue what that meant lol

I’m a Christian and my faith and Islam is very similar in terms of the way we should treat people and the lessons we are taught It’s the “over the top” people that ruin this bond. Out of all the religions islam is the one I relate the most to outside of my religion and I think that bond should be celebrated ❤️❤️❤️

No Quran 39.23] Allah has sent down the best discourse, a Book, consimilar in its oftrepeated (verses) that the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the Remembrance of Allah. Such is the Guidance of Allah, whereby He guides whosoever He will; and whosoever Allah leads astray, he has no guide.
