I started sacking pieces to open files in my games because of him and witty alien 😅 doesn't work as well when you're 600 elo LOL
This is the type of content I'll never get tired of watching. Also it's Eric Rosen, duh! ❤
the analogy of a king being like a baby was poetic
You have the best chess content out there. Thanks Eric!
I am so freaking happy that you dropped a 2 hour long instructive Chess video!
Oh no my to do list!!
openings may be dubious, but endgame instruction is immaculate :D
The King gambit game was quite a rollercoaster till the endgame.
More rapid please! I’m addicted

1:26:05 this game was amazing in the end game. Congrats! I think your game is very close to that of a GM. It also takes a lot of luck to become a GM because you can’t choose your opponents. But even if you don’t get the GM title, I think you can beat a lot of GMs out of those 1800. Kramnik the former world champ is 1 of them for sure
at 28:25... you should take that pawn with that trapped knight, so it dies with great style! :D
tough time trouble games over there
Kings have to be treated like a baby but eventually they grow up and help in an endgame has me thinking of potential chess variant where the King gradually gains abilities after certain move number breakpoints. IE start of game it can only move like a pawn. On move 10 it learns how to castle, move 20 it can move like a traditional king, every 10 moves after that it can move an additional square per turn. In order to prevent added king mobility to make checkmate impossible have to retain the king can't move through check rule. I'm not sure of specifics just first idea that came to mind of a king starting out even weaker than normal and eventually becoming almost as powerful as a queen that still can't move through check.
*loses* Him: "a draw 😎👌"

Cheating isn't a big issue on either platform - except in anonymous casual. That's just wild.
