Make your own craft storage boxes! 6x6 paper pad storage and great for your 2020 craft room redo!! These boxes also make great home decor pieces. This is a super easy DIY and an ORIGINAL DESIGN.
TIPS FOR DOING ONLINE GOOGLE SEARCHES FOR SHEET PAPERS, THIS IS IS MOST HELPFUL INFO I CAN OFFER:
1. search for wrapping paper sheets or Italian wrapping paper sheets
2. search 20x24, 20x40, 13 1/2 x 19 1/2 wrapping paper sheets

IF YOU ARE USING 12X12 PAPERS, IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO JOIN MULTIPLE PAPERS TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS BOX, AND YOU WILL HAVE MULTIPLE SEAMS. You will also need to reduce the shell foam board pieces by two inches in length, and the shell spine needs to be reduced by one inch in height. The box side pieces need to be reduced by one inch in height. The box center front needs to be reduced by two inches in length and one inch in height. This box is best suited for large sheet paper and that will give you the most professional look, however use what you have to make the project.

I used contact paper. Was a bit of a challenge but turned out great. Became a wedding card box at a friends wedding.
Very simple way of creating a box… I love it 🥰

Love the box and I wanted to thank you so much for talking about the glue you use I couldn't find any that I liked until I seem what you use and ordered some and now I started to make paper crafts again as glue and I always fought LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Love this new way of making boxes. Love that the box is made and lined inside and out, all in one go! I used just cardboard as I didn’t have foam board, and it worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing

Thank you Jaqueline. I do get a lot of bashing and basically it is because I’m forcing channels that were previously putting out mediocre “anything” and calling it paper crafting to do better for their subbies. I can take the bashing because I know what I bring to the game, and I know I can out craft anyone on YT. Some might see that as bragging, I see it as confidently stating what I know based on what I’ve seen. My goal is to elevate paper crafting so that the negative stigma that sometimes goes with handmade is completely a thing of the past. No matter the bashing, I will always show up and do my thing. Because based on the comments I get, true crafters have been waiting years for someone to step up and give them the quality crafts they deserve. And you guys appreciate what I’m putting out. I totally agree that what you bring is classy. And yes that is what is.needed. there are a few Crafters that I follow but I do find that they are repetitive and there crafts sometime don't give that touch of class like your things do. Don't get me.wrong some are nice but not over the top, I don't do boxes very often but I do get ideas from you that I make.my own and they are loved by the ones I gift them too. I love how you put the feet on the bottom of the boxes that is too cute and soooo classy

I love your projects. IKEA has nice heavier weight wrapping paper that is in expensive and many times very lovely. Sherry you should ignore those who are so very critical. You are making amazing projects. There are some people that just can’t be positive and always have to throw in their negative 2 cents. I can say I have made many of the projects without any problems. And I feel so encouraged by how beautiful they come out. I am prod to give these items as gifts. They look better than store bought and they are personalized. Thank you again for all that you do.

As a family entertainer, props can be VERY EXPENSIVE! Thank you for this storage box tutorial. With a few minor changes in paper I can make his into a storybook prop or in the case of my "Come to the Party" themed show I can make it into a cake.

This would be an awesome memory storage box for teenage or college girls that use shoeboxes for that purpose. This would be awesome especially if you used plain brown paper and let them decorate it like I've seen done. So cute and functional. Thank you
