@@mjzalov Besides Mahomes with 45 mil a year, most SB teams do not pay 50+ mil to their QB. Easy example would be Brady taking a lot less than he could have had, to get the teammates he needed for those runs. 25% of the salary cannot just go to the QB room and expect to get the pieces needed.

All these people on ESPN talking about the Cowboys should pay Dak but if they were Jerry Jones, they wouldn’t pay Dak. Why should we pay someone that gets bounced in the first round every year. Every year we go to the playoffs, Dak throws 1 or 2 picks and then we lose the game. I’m happy Jerry Jones is not paying Dak. We have to stop the notion that players have to be a paid big dollars just because their contract is all most up. Players should get paid by their resume. We don’t care that he’s winning regular season games. We are the F’n Cowboys. America Team. We want Superbowls!

Dak doesn’t need to do anything. They owe him his money. They probably are trying to get Dak to sign an extension so they don’t have to pay him the $56MIL but more likely it’s to waive his no trade and no cut clause.

It's like this bro. You're trying to take a mid-level player and say that they're a superstar. You guys have taken Dak who is by all counts a mid-level player. He is a good backup QB and you are trying to postulate that he is Joe Montana. You're trying to say that he has that level of skill when he really doesn't. So he disappoints but he only disappoints because you try to build him up to be something he just isn't. It's not really his fault that he is asked to be something better than what he can be and there are times when he seems to do pretty good but more often than not those times come against very weak and very bad teams that don't have the skills themselves or the coaching or talent to do better. But when Dak is facing opponents who have all of those things he comes out the loser and the reason is because you guys build him up to be better than he really is. It's your fault and you need to own it and you need to lower your expectations or just get rid of him altogether because he just can't live up to the hype. It's like when Star Wars The Phantom Menace came out like 20 years after the first Star Wars movie. There were so many expectations and so much hype that there was no way that it was going to live up to all that and guess what. It didn't. It was probably the most underwhelming entry in the franchise and that's not necessarily because it's bad. It has more to do with the expectations built around it and it's predecessors that simply couldn't live up to those expectations. This is a good anaology to describe the Dak situation.

Who are these teams lining up to sign Dak??? Dak wants $55+ mil a yr. Tell me a team who's willing to pay Dak that kinda money because that's what his agent and Dak want. I wanna know who's lining up for that.
