MORE Centipede Babies!
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
'Tis the season for babies it seems. Here, I separate yet another clutch of recently hatched Ethmostigmus rubripes (Australian giant centipedes) from their mother.

Love how the big girl is basically sleeping on a pile of her kids in the first part of the video. I cant imagine a constantly squirming bed is very comfortable, but I wouldn't know, I'm not a centipede.
Love the sarcasm and familiarity you have with your critters
I will never get tired of centipede baby videos.
yay babies
Ooooooo nice more babies hope they grow up to be big , strong and healthy. Stay safe my friend .
I'll never get sick of centipede babies :3
ARGH, they are so CUTE!! Little leggy noodle snippets!
You should try and get an ant colony.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is it these pairing that's throwing the white or is it just the mum? I love the white. My big E.Rubripes is massive. A really big eater too.
Mom: "Son, what are you watching?" Son: "Baby videos" Mom: "Sorry wha- Son, is there something you need to tell me?" Son: "Yes... Mom?" Mom: "Oh my god... Please. I'm not ready to be a grandma, tell me it's not real!" Son: ".... I like centipedes" Mom: "... Sorry wha-"
Them babies look similar to the adult centipedes that you get here in the UK 🤣 They like to sit under paving slabs . Ours are lame lol compared to the ones there😂 can I ask what do you do with the babies . Do you sell them ? can’t imagine you keep them all. Entertaining video as always 👍🏻
Good to watch your videos again. Here’s a wee question after watching the baby Centipedes, Do you get Albino Centipedes ?
Oh that’s amazing!!! What are you gonna do with the babies? Do you sell them?? I would love one of those!!! Centipedes are just an incredible animal!!

Probably, but wouldn't do much harm.
Hi! I love your videos, I have a white legs , black gigantea and robusta(idk is this a right name). I heard that white legs live in pretty dry place compare to other 2 . Can you tell me what temperature and humidity should I set for each?

The centipede nicknamed "robusta" is actually a variant of Scolopendra galapagoensis. You are correct about white legs coming from quite a dry habitat, but the advice I can give you on keeping South American giants is fairly limited. Here in Australia, we can only keep natives, so I have no experience at all with overseas species. That being said, humidity as a whole isn't something you need to worry about. Just keep part of the substrate moist, and ensure there is cross-ventilation.

@@BugsandBiology thank you for nice advice! In here, it is popular to make centipedes growup fast with high temperature and feeding a lot. Do u think this can be a problem for centipedes?
@BugsandBiology

I don't think so. They're not very hardy when small, so I often prefer to get them a little bigger as quickly as possible, as larger centipedes are much more resilient. I slow down the feeding after they've grown a bit.
