More Budgies from Woodline
It is high time that I provided some context to the first Woodline Budgie Video. This footage shows more birds that are not quite as tame as the amazing footage posted last year.
In this short clip, the birds allow close approaches but when the get startled they fly to a nearby tree before returning.
I will upload one more high-res video soon which shows that there were hundreds of birds there that day. Only a special few birds allowed any handling but all of them were "unnaturally" curious.
Should probably tell a bit more of the story then too. Don't forget, I did not take this footage. It is kindly supplied by Rob Wood.

wow, all chick / young budgies cant see any older than a few months old! i now have 4 budgies!!
I would be so trilled if a flock of budgies landed on my car.

Be sure to close your car doors and windows if you see budgies on your car. And lock your car doors too. They are thieves.

Really interesting checking out these vids of the birds. Definitely not something you'd usually encounter with wild versions of budgies/parakeets.

Welcome to heaven.
These budgies are still babies. At this age, almost all budgies are tame. Later in their teenage years they will no longer be so tame. Once they get past that teenage phase, if you're lucky, they'll become tame.
