More AWFUL News for Star Wars Movies...

So lately we’ve had some really controversial comments from the staff behind the upcoming Rey movie. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy in particular, the director of the film, has made some comments that stirred up quite a reaction from the community. Whatever you make of these comments, its pretty clear that lucasfilm put out the very recent news about a brand new Mandalorian Movie and Season 4 of the show, just to keep the attention off the controversy.
However, given the news i’m about to go into, I don’t think Lucasfilm are going to be able to keep the attention off of this movie. With what you’re about to hear, I wonder if this movie will even still happen. So, Steven Knight, the current writer of the movie who took over from Damon Lindelof last year, has apparently not been able to turn in a draft of the script yet, according to a reliable insider, as written up by the Bespin Bulletin.

Bro how are they making a Rey movie, like they already made 3 with her as the main character
It is kinda good that they are going on a direction which involves Rey and the Sequels, so they can't massacre important stuff like Darth Plagueis or Starkiller.

My Friend, do you notice how all of the statements coming from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, regarding their Mandoverse series and movies, aren't "problematic", AT ALL?
Rey could be a great character ... If disney wasn't in charge
The Mando movie announcement is possibly seen as damage control as well due to Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy's comment. If The Rey movie was released first I doubt if it would even make 200 million as Rey is not a popular character. The reason that Grogu may be in the movie is to attract the fans due to his popularity. I suspect the draft handed in by Steve Knight was not up to standard so hence the delay of the movie and another reason for the Mando movie being first in line . It may not even be possibly made.
I just hope it never comes out so it won’t wreck the Star Wars canon even more ☠️
Grogu made his decision not to be a jedi. He survived order 66 it traumatized him so much he blocked it out of his memory. I don't think he wants anything to do with the jedi.
Dont see why we cant get a plagueis movie or darth bane movie would pay to see those two

Bad news? This is fantastic news Ray was awful, bad writing, terrible acting almost as bad as Larson playing marvel bad. They should have gone straight to an Ashoka Trilogy

Don't pay. No mind to that director and what she said and the director not turning in any draft just yet is a good thing that means he's in deep thought and being creative and that takes time the longer it takes to turn in a draft the better the movie
Meanwhile, a new Star Trek movie was announced yesterday which could be a prequel origin story set before the 2009 movie. A sequel to beyond is still in the works apparently but I’m more interested to see which one will come out first. A new Star Wars movie or Star Trek movie. Anything is possible at this point.
Where’s the kotor films at, they would be much more appreciated.
