i miss that big teddy bear grandee🥲. its nice to see him again even if it was just a flashback. such a great daddy to all the kids & a great backbone to the mothers. it seems that all his posse girls have all grown up to become great mothers themselves now ❤ if only he could see.

I was drinking my morning coffee as I watched this and I had to stop to grab a tissue, when the flashback of Grandee and Fify was played. The flashback started and so did my tears. Grandee was so special, so endearing, almost magical - truly ‘Grand’ and I don’t believe my heart will ever stop missing his presence. I wish that he could see the little prince, that his precious princess Fify is now cradling. I’m sure he would have been so proud.....

What great videos!! I miss Grandee so much. He may not have been the typical alfa male, but he showed so much love in the troupe. He was so gentle and kind to the babies. He brought something different to the troupe. I think that is why I love " Our Gang". very uniqIue and wonderful moms. Thank you AM . I love watching and learning. Be safe and well. Oh my favourite ever monkey..Mr Grandee. BEST DAD ON MONKEY HILL..they were so settled with him as Alpha..Bossy didn't realise how good she had it and boy what a superdad he was..to ALL babies not just his own..would just love him to meet his grandkids..loved seeing him..Fify will be a great momma..she has fantastic genes..I'm sure I saw a little O in his mouth like Grandad Grandee..so glad we are naming after him..I've done the other names in previous posts..but had to go back and change Rosy's as you want them after his Nanny Aggy.. so just Fifys little bun to name..Grundy.. Grandee was a grown male when Mr AM started following dopey. He was not the alpha back then, cocky was, who was a younger, bigger, stronger, and more handsome monkey than grandee. And tho we like to reminisce about grandee and how much he loved his little girls, he was kind of past his prime when he became alpha, and I think that was a big part of why he ousted so many males, especially his offspring, at such a young age. Much younger than is normal. I mean, spocky was barely 2 and a half when he was run off. As well as baty dopey knotty knitty all those in the "boy band" they were homeless little adolescents for several years because grandee before they had their boy band. He was just like all the monkeys, and individual, had his good and bad sides, and like everything in life, made up of a million shades of grey, rather than all wonderful, definitely not, or all bad, definitely not that either. But as Ms blinn said, the videos are all there, nice and orderly in playlists, and there's now a wiki page to reference that we def didn't have the convenience of back then, and all of the stories are worth a watch, not to mention they will answer the questions you are asking, and the ones you haven't thought of yet either. Rewatching is great. Seeing circles close and patterns arise, relationships being formed or ended, it's so much better to go back from time to time and catch a season here and there. You'll always be pleasantly surprised with something, even if it isn't grandee.

Grandee didn't oust spocky or baty out,it was found out that it was brooding prince Barry. Spocky was only 3 and a half, but thank goodness baty was with him then. Dont know where baty is now spocky is in a troop but am didn't say which one. Spocky is the DOUBLE of grandee and vivy.

Fify's baby has the absolute cutest tiny little wrinkly face ever. She did sooo good! I think his name should be Fivel. Like Fivel Mouskowitz from the movie. But Good Job to all the moms and specially the 1st time mommies!!

Fify was such a beautiful baby. I think dark babies are best, and she was dark, and bold as brass. But I'm sorry to say she has grown up and doesn't look like grandee like a lot of his babies, or much like ridgy, who looks sort of regal, especially back when grandee was around and she was on top. Maybe it will come to fify in time. She has a beautiful brown baby though! As great as fify and grandee's relationship was, i think Gigi was even funnier and cuter, and possibly more favored by grandee. Not prepared to die on that hill, but i think the argument could be made. Gigi was not apt to share grandee with anyone, ever, and it was hilarious.
