Quackers is quite the pet. A beautiful bird indeed. 👍👍 And so friendly! We have a family of blue jays living nearby that love bread scraps, cookies, and tortilla chips in addition to regular bird seed. However, despite feeding them every day they won't let us get anywhere remotely as close as that. They make noises that sound like like creaking door hinges. At least Quackers has a soft and proper voice. Thanks so much for posting this closeup look at Quackers. All the better to put a "face" to the name. 😆

Update. Cannot talk to Quackers anymore, she's seen the video and thinks she's a bloody film star now lol

The frequency response has a honk at around 250 Hz!
