Nightmare Blade Nope, four good hits with a longsword and you’re gone. Most of the time heavy armor lets you survive one to two hits more than light one. So yeah, don’t get hit

@@k3ps00n7 It's fine if you still enjoy it. I enjoyed it to, before Mordhau came along. Mordhau just built upon basically everything in chivalry and made it better. Gameplay feels infinitesimaly snapier and precise, and the armor unlock system is way more consumer-friendly than chivalry's microtransactions. Chivalry 2 dosen't look anywhere near as good as Mordhau either, That's why I wouldn't call Mordhau a copy, more like a successor that blew its predecessor out of the water.

This is how you show off gameplay with the viewing pleasure of a cinematic edit. Very well made, Trix. I couldn't have imagined a better trailer.

Quick maths.

Worth reminding that the trailer is made entirely on game engine. With above average/high end PC you can get these graphics, and player models and movements and their actions is what actually you can do in the game. No animated/prerendered bs. Might as well call it a game footage.

Chivalry was the perfect demo/beta to get me hyped for Mordhau. Cannot wait to get into the ring.

I started yelling out how cool this game looks when the dude threw the sword and hit the guy square in the face. This seems amazing and there's obviously been a lot of work and passion poured into the game.

FrontLineTexan 21 yeah fast=/= realistic, and you can do damage with a wooden hammer to a fullplate person, so that’s not the good part

I think it's more that they figured, since they told people it'd be out in April, that means they should delay the release as long as possible to polish things up and fix bugs etc

It's named after a German school of swordplay, which involved turning a sword upside down to use the hilt and crossguard as a hammer/mace thing. They named it that bc the game has an insane amount of freedom. And yes, you can mordhau with the swords. How could you not with that name?

I agree. chiv was a decent game, but it could've been much better if the devs didn't abandon it. the agatha knights vs the mason order was a great setting.
