Hello Brew, a follow up from the FOV discussion, I found the fisheye effect inevitable, whether you choose 60, 78 or 101 FOV. The weapon in the center is alsways seems further than it actually is, and things in the brim is exaggerated.

Yeah I realized that after the fact, but at first it just looked like the player model rubberbanded

correct me if im wrong, it's been too long since i played, but didnt dodge cost more stamina if you're on heavier armor, or something along those lines?

You make this look so damn easy, with simple movements and a slow pace. I swear if I was playing these same people, I'd be getting laid the fuck out. Do you have any guides on how to accel/drag, or general advice on staying in control?

I had noticed that about the maps. It’s part of the reason I don’t hop on ranked more often, I just get tired of that one map over and over

i notice you dont use mix-ups like feints or morphs as often as i do. im just level 30, never touched ranked and im wanting to learn as much as i can. do you know why you use them less often?

I don’t need to lean on them that much I guess. I feel like I morph a lot in frontlines and invasion though

Lean on, like, rely on. You see a lot of players who do nothing but feint and accel or drag and morph and I just tend to do a little of everything

But it makes sense that blocking a bigger weapon with a little weapon drains more stam. The little weapon is also almost always notably faster than the bigger weapon.

Anticipation tbh. You just kind of get used to the timing of it. So by the time you see the kick starting my finger had already left the button

It’s hot and cold 80% of the matches. It’s either someone running a maul speed build or someone who parries every time the wind changes direction. Rarely do I find matches like the last two.

I’m new to Mordhau so I don’t understand, what’s wrong/scummy with shields?

@@aisuyukii It's a crutch for high level players. For low-level players it encourages bad habits.

It would be nice if shields broke eventually, like they do in Chiv 2 (one of the few things Chiv 2 does better).

Also that stab thing you were talking about is abused by players for sure, that lower left stab seems to have no animation before it hits you especially if they aim for your head
