Overview of the Mora Classic range of knives. Classic No1, No2 and No3

I have a No.1 and a No.3. Although I've experimented with other knives and axes over the last couple of years, lately I've returned to these 2 knives, combined with my Husqvarna 13" hatchet, and am quite pleased. They really are wonderful blades! I've been especially rough on the No.3, just to see how much abuse I can get away with, and have yet to reach that knifes limits. As far as the No.1 goes, for me, I really enjoy doing the majority of my tasks with that knife! Even during my "experimental" phase, I always had that blade with me!

My ol #2 is my go to in my go bag, and normally is sitting close to my Norland Hudson Bay Boy's Hand axe and old 9" folding saw. Those three seem to deal with about 90% of my cutting needs. I've been looking to get a Puuka but at this late stage of life the ol fixed income doesn't stretch quite that far. Anyway 'stay safe keep warm have fun & whittle to keep your sanity'. ol greybeard dino ; - ) >

I've been eyeballing a #1 for a while now :-) It will make a nice companion for the Garberg.

I have a Frost Mora Special no1 with a leather sheath. This is one knife I will never part with!

These should be called Mora Plastic. If named Classic it really should have the classic leather sheath.

You do know that mora has used plastic sheaths atleast from sixties?

@nonamer well, plastic sheath is their classic sheath so it wouldnt really make much sense to suddenly switch to leather sheath 😅 moraknivs sheath sure needs some improvements, agreed on that

@@aleksikarvonen701 What does classic entail? Is it the current, or the oldest, or the one with most class? The current one is plastic, but it's not the oldest nor the one with most class!
