Decades ago I was fishing ponds out in the woods…our province has oodles of them. We have oodles of moose too. I came across a mother moose by a big hole like this one only to realize her calf was stuck in it. I was able to pull the calf out of the big hole without getting trampled by the mom…maybe she sensed I was helping. Great video…brought back that memory for me…thanks for that. 👏

Poor guy, he thought he'd take a dip and come back out but what a drop... I'm glad the branch was able to help him get back out to safety. 🌝
