Moonlight offroad park hosted a bounty hill climb that was pretty gnarly. The hill was pretty tough and the guys had to make a sort of sidehill attempt to even be able to climb it. When it was all said and done Tim Cameron was the winner with an 11.8 second run.

Saw Tim's new IFS had to see it working
Great footage as always. Maybe using a secondary clock would be wise in case of a timer malfunction?
Wow, they are both awesome 👍👍
All buggy drivers : I got this. I'm taking home the trophy today!! TC shows up and unloads his buggy. All buggy drivers : FUUUUU.........
Nice thumb nail, thought it was RC cars until I clicked!!!

Yeaha, Tim Cameron :-)
It sounded like timmies engine was breaking up a bit? It’s awesome to see the new rig at an event, I’m sure he’ll get all the bugs work out and have her tip top shape for start of 2020 srrs race. I hope jake pike races the srrs this year. That fordzilla buggy is mean!

I feel like the second runs was a waste of time. He had it won on the first run. You can see that without a timer.

Everyone would have been faster with a second run so they all should have rerun it!
@MadRam11
4 жыл бұрын
not true, how do you know TCs first run wasn't faster? The rules have always been if the timers malfunction you get a re-run. Its always talked about it in the drivers meeting. I have see a person have to re-run and DNF, so you can't just say they will be faster no matter what because thats not the truth
@AZBADBOYz

@@MadRam11 So you're implying that the guy that ran a 156.250 couldn't have run a MUCH faster pass if the timer had failed on his run, potentially giving him the win? My point is, EVERY SINGLE PERSON could make a faster pass on their SECOND PASS so therefore, every single person should be given the opportunity if they desire to make a second run. That seems logical and fair to me but yes a pain in the ass for the event.
@MadRam11

I get where youre coming from but it is discussed in the drivers meeting. Just think if TC had screwed up and rolled on his 2nd run then he would have gotten a DNF. I have been involved with this sport since the beginning and I have seen more 2nd runs hurt drivers than help them.
@reddymon

MadRam11 This is only an issue in hindsight. Had TC blown his second run it could be said he was cheated because his first run looked fast enough to win. The rules are established up front and everyone runs under the same rules. A clock malfunction is just a random event that no driver has any influence over. And it is just luck whether it hurts you or helps you. A second run may give you a slight edge but.... that’s racing.
@AZBADBOYz

@@MadRam11 As an option maybe keep whichever run each person runs out of the two? Ideally of course would be a redundant timing system as a backup.
My '72 Bronco can do that.
Who downvoted this lol? Someone wanting 4k video and surround sound? Some SJW that doesn't like tearing up the woods for a bit?
With enough money you can accomplish anything lol

Stop with the timer malfunctions already. It makes the sport look bad! That's the only thing that makes it look bad though.....
