This week, I've created an arrangement of the Gran Turismo main theme, "Moon Over the Castle," composed by Masahiro Andō. From 1976 to 2021, Andō served as the guitarist and leader of the Japanese jazz-fusion band T-Square. Originally, "Moon Over the Castle" debuted as the first track on Andō's solo album, "Andy's," in 1996. It later became the basis for T-Square's "Knight Song," incorporating this music as a sample in 1997. Eventually, it evolved into the opening theme for the NTSC-J version of the original Gran Turismo game.
