Every other Wednesday we present a new video, so join us to see the truth laid bare...
The moon is far more than just a beautiful object in the night sky.
Ever since its creation 4.5 billion years ago the moon has been edging away from Earth into space. Throughout its journey, it has influenced our planet in different ways. But one things clear, without it life would never have emerged on Earth.
4.5 billion years ago the moon forms when another planet slams into the early Earth. The impact knocks our planet “off-balance” onto an axis of 23 degrees, which we still rotate around today. This is what gives us our seasons. Without it we would have no summers, springs, winters or falls.
4 billion years ago the solar system endures the most violent meteorite bombardment in its history, the Lunar Cataclysm. The Earth, being 50 times bigger than the moon, exerts a massive gravitational pull on incoming space debris. Because the moon is still so close to Earth it too gets hit. 99% of all craters on the lunar surface visible today are a result of this bombardment.
3 billion years ago the Earth has water and oceans. Because the moon is far closer its gravitational pull is far stronger on the Earth. The tides it creates are thousands of feet high and smash hundreds of miles inland every day. Scientists believe that these tides feed the Primordial Soup with the minerals required to start life. Without them only the most basic microbes would be on Earth today.
Today the moon has the same gravitational pull as a mosquito landing on your head, yet some people still believe it can influence our planet in bizarre ways.
The San Francisco Police Department tell us how crime appears to soar during a full moon. But the scientific data suggests otherwise, studies show no correlation between the Full Moon and violence. Naked Science investigates.
Scientific research into the moon is allowing some scientists to predict when natural disasters will strike. Some researchers believe that when the sun and moon align and pull together on the Earth they can trigger both earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
In the future the moon will move so far from Earth that it will affect the fine balance of our planet, sending our climate tumbling out of control.

Wether or not you see the moon - it's still there grinding us with its gravity pull, no matter what. The difference is how much sunlight it receives. If, what you're saying is correct, then the Sun would've had the same effect on you apart from tanning your skin.

@@nialldargan4929 THE PRECISE, SIMPLE, TOP DOWN, AND CLEAR DERIVATION, ORIGIN, MEANING, AND CONSTRUCTION OF E=MC2: E=mc2 is taken directly from F=ma. BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is fundamental. Carefully consider what is THE SUN AND what is the speed of light (c) ON BALANCE. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the NIGHT SKY. So, consider what is THE BLACK “space” of what is THE EYE. The sky is blue, AND what is THE EARTH is ALSO BLUE !! c squared is CLEARLY understood as a dimension (of what constitutes SPACE) ON BALANCE, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity ON/IN BALANCE !!! GREAT !!! I have CLEARLY explained or proven the mathematical unification of gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy (ON/IN BALANCE), as I have demonstrated the fourth dimension AND the term c4 from Einstein's field equations (along with TIME); as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). I have proven how and why this is mathematically consistent with F=ma AND E=mc2. TIME dilation ultimately proves on balance that ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). In light of what has been CLEARLY proven here (on BALANCE), think about what is THE SUN in DIRECT comparison to/with what is outer “space”. GREAT !!! It ALL CLEARLY makes perfect sense, as BALANCE and completeness go hand in hand. I'm going to more precisely explain the true origin (and the full meaning) of the equation E=mc2. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is (CLEARLY and necessarily) proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). This also CLEARLY explains, on balance, why and how this equation represents a two dimensional surface OR SPACE as what is a BALANCED AVERAGE. Indeed, gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy are (CLEARLY) linked AND BALANCED opposites (on balance); as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity (on/in balance) !!! Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE. TIME dilation ULTIMATELY proves ON BALANCE that ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. Indeed, TIME is necessarily possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE; as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity (on/in balance). Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE on balance, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity ON/IN BALANCE. This explains F=ma AND E=mc2. This ALSO explains why the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. Inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is proportional to (or BALANCED with/as) GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). This explains F=ma AND E=mc2. I have truly (and fundamentally) revolutionized what is our understanding of physics/physical experience. Compare the setting and orange Sun with the fully illuminated and setting/WHITE Moon DIRECTLY. They do basically appear to give off the same illumination, in fact. Notice that the curvature or shape of said Moon matches that of THE EARTH/ground (given a clear horizon, that is). What is THE SUN AND what is THE MOON are then the SAME SIZE in the sky as what is THE EYE. Moreover, these two forms manifest (or form up) at what is EYE LEVEL/body height. GREAT !!! Now, I have CLEARLY proven why AND how this is so. The tides are (CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY) ELECTROMAGNETIC/gravitational ON BALANCE. Magnificent !!! The tides are CLEARLY and necessarily subject to F=ma AND E=mc2, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Again, the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky; and the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. The sky is blue, and THE EARTH is ALSO BLUE. Excellent. I have explained why the sizes of said Moon and said Sun are the same as what is THE EYE ON BALANCE. So, I have CLEARLY explained why the diameter of the Moon is about one quarter (at 27 percent) in size compared with what is THE EARTH. How does what is the Sun survive or exist against what is outer “space" ? The answer is, ON BALANCE, invisible AND VISIBLE SPACE in fundamental equilibrium and BALANCE. Here's why. (Think about TIME as well.) WHAT IS THE EXPLANATION OF SPACE AND TIME ON BALANCE: Invisible AND VISIBLE SPACE in fundamental equilibrium AND BALANCE. This necessarily and clearly involves interaction, on balance. Consider what is the eye (on balance). Logically consider what is a two dimensional surface OR SPACE ON BALANCE !!!! Notice the associated DOME AND the flat/black “space” of WHAT IS the eye AS WELL. Really think about it all. Consider WHAT IS THE SUN ON BALANCE. (NOW, think about time.) Outer “space” involves full inertia, AND it is fully invisible AND black. Consider one and three dimensions ON BALANCE !!! Now, consider what is the fourth dimension and the term c4 from Einstein's field equations. Think about ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy AND think about gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Consider what is the man (AND THE EYE ON BALANCE) who IS actually standing ON what is THE EARTH/ground (ON BALANCE) !! Think about TIME !! Think about why there is something instead of nothing ON BALANCE. Consider that time is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. Think about the man (THE EYE) that actually IS IN what is outer “space”. Think about time. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky ON BALANCE, and consider what is the speed of light (c) ON BALANCE. NOW, consider what is THE SUN. Think closely about everything in this writing. Balance and completeness go hand in hand. Magnificent. ❤️ c squared CLEARLY means an INTERACTION on balance, as the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Balanced inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is fundamental. Consider E and “m" on balance. Great. The fourth dimension is only consistent with what is (on balance) a TWO dimensional surface OR SPACE ON BALANCE. Consider what is the eye. Consider what is the balanced MIDDLE DISTANCE in/of SPACE (ON/IN BALANCE). Consider invisible AND VISIBLE SPACE in fundamental equilibrium AND BALANCE. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky ON BALANCE. So, consider what is the speed of light (c) ON BALANCE. This CLEARLY explains the fourth dimension AND the term c4 from Einstein's field equations. Time is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE, as BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is fundamental pursuant to F=ma AND E=mc2 in balance. A galaxy consists of invisible AND VISIBLE SPACE in fundamental equilibrium and BALANCE, thereby eliminating the need for any "dark" "matter" or "dark" "energy"; as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is then CLEARLY gravity ON/in BALANCE. July 1963. Aboard boat at sundown taking me from Venice, Italy, to the Lido (Venice's swim beach on an Adriatic-Sea barrier island). Terrible wails coming from a large, windowless building that jutted out of the water to our right. I asked my Italian friend what it was. He pointed to the full moon rising and said two words, "Insane asylum." I pursued the point, and found that, though they could not see outside, they could sense the full moon, and it upset them a lot. Case 2: Ft. Worth, TX, 1975. A 6-ft. hedge in Bob's backyard. Left half neatly trimmed at 6 ft. Right half a wild mess with 9-ft. flier branches sticking out all over. Wild side pruned 4 days after neat side, but on a day that the Farmer's Almanac did not say was good for pruning vegetation. The neat half, though pruned considerably earlier, was pruned on a good day for the task. Why good? Because the moon was right. I recommend that you doubters buy almanacs and strike blows for empiricism through conducting your own botanical experiments. Or, you can continue to pontificate without a clue. The growing season is about to begin, so let the experiments begin! Come September, I expect to see numerous chats, etc., about how the moon affects EVERTHING. Spread the word. Let's get this show on the road. Germinate peas, beans, etc. against the moon's advice. Get the kids involved. Learn what people who grew up on farms and ranches have known forever. The moon not only "affects" (your quotes, not mine) us, but controls us. I don't know how you city folk get by without almanacs. Heck, you don't even have a way to determine all the myriad ways that the moon, sun, etc., influence each of us continually, 24-365.

Just like all the people that think a full moon actually changes human behavior. If a full moon changes human behavior it's because they are emotional and psychological state and/or belief system allows that to happen. Cuz the moon's always there. There's a common misconception that it's biggest when it's full. A full moon is just light hitting one side of it illuminating it for us to see. There's times when the new moon is there.. when it's completely dark and it's just as close but no one says anything about that. Changes in human behavior due to any gravitational effect of the moon has not been proven. And furthermore... For those that are reading that seem to think I'm wrong... If the moon had the power to shift the liquids in your body... It would have a physical effect on you before it had any kind of emotional or psychological effect. And if the moon pulled the liquids in your body to one side of you I would imagine you would swell and it would be very uncomfortable. Please someone if you can correct me with scientific evidence then I will stand corrected. But Hollywood and a lot of really ridiculous movies and written stories from generations past have had way too much of an influence on the intelligence level of modern society. If you're reading this that means you have access to the internet and you're more than likely using a smart device. Use it to learn something.😂😂

The minor planet between the fourth (Mars) and fifth (Jupiter) planets, Ceres, has ice in its craters, and the minor planet Pluto, like Earth, is sort of a double-planet, in that its moon Charon is proportionately large (the Earth and Moon orbit a point just inside the Earth's surface, but Pluto and Charon have a mid-point closer to Pluto around which they both orbit in gravitational balance).

  • @Rajso1

i' ve seen a theory while watching an university stream about the moon, that it might be because the accreation disc actually formed 2 moons first with very similar velocity, but the one in the "behind" was a bit faster, but not enough to crash, instead it merged... so the far side is thicker because is one ball "splated" on the back of the other one... sorry for my english, hope it make sence... :) to answer your other question, yes, there is many of impact crater on the far side, but no seas, because is thicker,so it would not cause the magma to resurface

Something major happened in the history of the solar system to cause all this damage we see the results of today . Pluto has an extreme elliptical orbit around the sun, Uranus is tipped on its side , and Mars was hit with a huge impact that caused a big bulge on one side of the planet .The result was a massive volcanic system with the biggest volcano (Olympus Mons) which is three times higher than Mt. Everest and the size of Texas as well as the biggest canyon in the entire solar system Valles Merineris at 2500 miles , long and 23,000 ft deep . Mars also has an elliptical orbit more extreme than any other planet aside from Pluto . And then there's Venus which has a day that's longer than its year and its spinning backwards counter to all the other planets . Additionally the entire surface was refaced at some point in its past which most likely was the cause for the loss of all its water . The same could be said for Mars as well . In the case of Venus its rotation is slowing down and will eventually be reversed back to the way other planets rotate . Obviously something major happened in our solar system to cause these things . It possible that a rogue planet came through the system and wreaked havoc as it passed through. Aside from the cometary debris that our planet passes through every year there are thousands of asteroids that are within the inner solar system which could tell us a lot more about the history of the early solar system and what has happened . Given the orbits of several Kuiper belt objects, i.e. objects such as comets that reside beyond the orbit of Pluto, many astronomers are now pretty certain that a planet of at least the size of Earth but possibly much bigger than Earth is lurking beyond the outer bounds of the solar system and could be in an extreme long elliptical orbit around the sun . Other scientist have also postulated the possibility of a brown dwarf otherwise known as a failed star which is essentially a gas giant bigger than Jupiter in an extremely long orbit around our star which would make sense since most stars have a companion star traveling with them from birth . A brown dwarf would be too dim to be seen but could be detected via a new highly sensitive infrared space telescope . Hopefully once the James Webb space telescope is up and running and operating smoothly we'll have an answer to some of these important questions . Even if we don't find a companion star or a big planet roaming around the edges of the solar system there's still countless rogue worlds within our galaxy that could have been the cause for the destruction we see in our now stable system . The big question is for how long will this stability last until the next time ?

THE ULTIMATE (AND CLEAR) MATHEMATICAL UNIFICATION (AND PROOF) REGARDING PHYSICS/PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE IS NOW DEMONSTRATED, AS E=MC2 IS F=MA: TIME DILATION ultimately proves (ON BALANCE) that E=mc2 IS F=ma, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. (Importantly, balance and completeness go hand in hand.) The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. NOW, A PHOTON may be placed at the center of WHAT IS THE SUN (as A POINT, of course); AS the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the speed of light (c); AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Indeed, ultimately and truly, TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE; AS E=MC2 IS F=MA; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Very importantly, outer "space" involves full inertia; AND it is fully invisible AND black. GREAT. Accordingly, INSTANTANEITY is thus FUNDAMENTAL to what is the FULL and proper UNDERSTANDING of physics/PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE; AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. It ALL CLEARLY makes perfect sense. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. E=mc2 IS F=ma. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. E=MC2 IS F=MA. GREAT !!! Gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy are linked AND BALANCED opposites, AS E=mc2 is F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Consider THE MAN who is standing on what is THE EARTH/GROUND. Touch AND feeling BLEND, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY IS proportional to (or BALANCED with/as) inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Accordingly, the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. Great. MOREOVER, a given PLANET (including what is THE EARTH) then sweeps out equal areas in equal times consistent WITH/AS F=ma, E=mc2, AND what is perpetual motion; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. INSTANTANEITY is thus FUNDAMENTAL to what is the FULL and proper UNDERSTANDING of physics/physical experience, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. Stellar clustering ALSO proves ON BALANCE that E=mc2 IS F=ma, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Objects (including WHAT IS the falling MAN) fall at the SAME RATE (neglecting air resistance, of course), as E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/energy is gravity. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. E=mc2 IS F=ma. THE DOME of a PERSON'S EYE is ALSO VISIBLE. (Notice the flat AND black space of what is THE EYE.) The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. The sky is blue, AND the Earth is blue. THE EARTH/ground AND THE SUN are E=mc2 AND F=ma IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS UNIVERSALLY PROVEN TO BE GRAVITY in what is a mathematically unified fashion. E=mc2 IS F=ma. The middle distance in/of/AS SPACE AND the full distance in/of/AS SPACE are NECESSARILY linked AND balanced. MAGNIFICENT !!!!!!!!!! As for Berklund's predictions, he's just added one constant for the prediction of earthquakes, one known influencing factor that affects the Earths tectonic plates, especially when amplified by the Moons gravitational pull. Common sense dictates that the normal gravitational pull of the Sun would significantly increase the likelihood of slippage in concert with the Moon. Congratulations are in order, not derision.

For my space friends out there that can help me. Can a sine wave ride the earth’s magnetic wave through space? Can 3 phases positively charged rods create a synthetic “DC” wave, can a negatively charged 3 phase rods collect the sine wave produced by the positively charged rods. Would you need “4 phases” the 4th phase being the center ground to help collect the positively charged rods. Would you need 3 phases in sync or 3 phases in their own phase to produce proper power to transmit the perfect voltage through air? If you capped the signal and added more "emitting" rods to the side of the emitter could you direct that power to multiple "collectors"? (1 power point to multiple collectors.) Could the collectors reach out a grab 2 phases to help switch between the collectors? Can electricity ride a magnetic wave? Can you send a sine wave from the southern hemisphere to northern hemisphere? Could you send an electron from earth to moon? Can you control shooting electricity in space since there is no ground in space? would the electricity grab on to the minerals in space? Could a space craft be negatively charged and be propelled by the protons presented by the sun in the solar wind (Like magnetic theory)? Also how far out does the solar wind reach. If solar wind is only great at near the closet planets, can we "ride" that wind for the faster means of travel. If you used laser acceleration to push a craft through space would you have enough energy from earth to propel it? would you need satellites to help push? Can a laser pulse from 1 satellite charge up another satellite? If so, could you "Daisey chain" or line of sight the satellites to help charge one other.

Its interesting stuff, but I hate the presentation--the fast-slo-mo tracking shots, the weak synth-rock and the over-dramatised narration. Just the choice of language is annoying; the 'lunar Cataclysm' as opposed to the more descriptive and scientifically accepted 'Late Heavy Bombardment'. And the basaltic up-welling origin of the lunar seas they discuss here has been discredited for more than twenty years.

Apollos 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 did land and those carried the 12 astronauts lucky enough to walk on the moon.

What if: 1. There are all kinds of civilizations that exist in our Galaxy as well as in the rest of the Galaxies in our Universe and all other Universes? 2. Some are more advanced than others and some are even less advanced than the primitive life form we call Human? 3. The more advanced civilizations in our Galaxy (let's call them ET's) also had their problematic, underdeveloped entities that did not fit and they needed to exile them from their civilizations? 4. Due to their advanced understanding of the cause and effect mechanics of the Galaxy/Universe, as well as their ultra-developed sense of righteousness, they did not want to just eliminate these problematic entities? 5. They decided to banish them to the far outer reaches of the Galaxy where they will no longer be a danger to the rest of the Galaxy (sort of like a space Australia)? 6. They found a planet, populated by a few pre-historic life forms, in the far outer reaches of one of the Galaxy's spiral arms and they called it Earth? 7. This planet was not totally suited to their purpose and they constructed a satellite (the Moon) that was placed into orbit around the Earth to activate the Earth's weather and natural resources (like wind and ocean tides) to produce the right environment for the exiles to survive in and It also served as a monitoring platform for the ET's? 8. It took millions of Earth years (which was not a long time for these ET's as they live for millions of Earth years due to their technological advancements), the Earth was finally ready to accommodate these exiles? 9. Over time a lot of different entities were settled in groups all over the Earth and that is where all the different Races on the different continents came from? 10. This worked well until some of these exiles developed capabilities to travel across oceans and far distances and started to interfere with the other exiles and indigenous pre-historic life forms? 11. This intermingling and trespassing on others' territories caused the development of weapon technologies and sparked wars? 12. This was bad but was not worrying the ET's too much until the development of nuclear weapons? 13. Since the first firing of these weapons, the ET's intensified their monitoring and are visibly visiting Earth more frequently to be ready for intervention should the Earthlings' actions start to threaten the Solar System or Galaxy? 14. That is why UFO activity intensified after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings? 15. Since 1945 the use of nuclear weapons against each other has subsided and the threat to the Solar system/Galaxy was minimised? 16. The current escalation of the Russian/Ukrainian war triggers the irresponsible use of these nuclear weapons and be the event that will cause the ET's to physically intervene and bring peace and stability to the inhabitants of Earth that is left after the predicted Armageddon?

You can doubt as much as you want, but the thing with Jupiter is that, between 2015 and 2018, 14 moons were discovered, bringing their number to 79. And who knows when was this documentary made - it was posted in 2016. And, on the other hand, Saturn lost 62 of his moons so far (moons that were discovered but have since disappeared). Both of them are HUGE and the number of moons (most of them being actually captured asteroids and other junk) changes constantly, year to year. Big ones don't, but dozens of smaller ones come and go. So when you say "makes me doubt the rest of the information" and "how can documentary get something so simple wrong" actually points to the fact that you yourself are ignorant on the subject. And yes, depending on the time when this specific documentary was made, Saturn could have had more satellites than Jupiter and the number could have been wrong. For instance, just a month ago, number of Jupiter's moons jumped by 10, growing to current 79. Saturn, currently, 62. A month ago it was 69:62. And up to September 7th 2010 it was 63:62 for Jupiter.

"The Earth, being 50 times bigger than the moon". The Earth is around 4 times bigger than the moon. More science fiction than science fact. Maybe they're trying to get around the fact that no other planet/moon in our solar system has even a close size relationship. They do make it sound plausible though.

Genuine question: It is said that without the Moon the Earth could wobble severely. Why is such a wobble (0° ~ 90°) only applicable to the Earth, though? The other terrestrial planes don’t have moons (Mars’ are probably too insignificant for this) and they never wobble as much, why would only the Earth have such a bizarre variation?

It must be because we have such a severe tilt and because of how fast we spin. I'd like to think its like a spinning top, but canted to the side at such an angle that if you didn't tie a string to it, it would fall over.
