Jake was the main personality during Vengence of Moon Knight comic run, but he was quite different at the time he even was a no-kill rule, It is worth remembering that Jake as he is known today is a relatively recent reinterpretation it's not like he always used to be but back to the point the closest he came to "modern Jake" has when he fought Deadpool and the same told Jake that he couldn't die because of his healing factor then Jake stop holding back and released all his anger and stress on Deadpool.
