    @Donut Bastet is a goddess of protection and pleasure, destroyer of vermin and bringer of health. Exactly what you'd expect a cat goddess to be concerned with, and fitting with the role cats played in ancient Egypt (killing rats and mice to protect stored grain from being consumed and/or contaminated, and killing mice, rats, scorpions, and snakes to protect people in their homes). Bast being the Panther Goddess and Protector of Wakanda in the MCU also fits with that: protecting and defending both the home (the people and nation she is the goddess of) and the potential dangers of widespread use of vibranium outside of her supervision.

    That always struck me as hilarious in mythology - if everyone saved had empathy and went back for their loved ones, _there'd be hardly anyone in Hell._ I guess the writers of religious scriptures were sociopaths. ^^

    @DoremiFasolatido1979

    Yes? You're only just now figuring this out? I mean...God (in all forms) in the Abrahamic religions holy books...never once tells the truth, actively harms people out of pure spite, never lifts a single finger to actually help anyone, commands his followers to commit atrocities, and condemns almost everyone to Hell for a mistake HE made. Conversely, the various characters collectively lumped into the "Devil" (apart from Revelations) never lie, never harm a single soul, never bargain for anything except where they're trying to bargain with God to actually help someone, and they often try to explain things to humans so they'll understand what's actually happening. While that subset of religions is among the worst offenders, no religion in the world (not even Buddhism) is exempt from such horrific disparity.

    @kaijuar2003

    @@DoremiFasolatido1979 The reason why God doesn't help is because we humans are capable of working together and fending for ourselves. There's only so much a higher power can do much line how there's only so much a doctor can do. Humans also need to learn how to find the truth themselves as not all the time there's gonna be someone or something there to tell them. Are your parents always there to tell you the truth aboht something? No, sometimes you've got to look for, find and learn the truth yourself. Recently my mother found out the truth about what bad things my stepfather was doing. Short explanation, you CAN'T ALWAYS rely on someone or something, you've also got to fend for yourself and do things on your own. Which is why in the Bible God doesn't always help as he knows he cannot always be there to help or aid humanity. Not even Jesus was always there to help or aid humanity. Not even your friends or family are always gonna be there for you, especially when you're all alone. The Bible is meant to be a way for us to learn how to have morale and learn things mentally and emotionally, it has nothing to do with following a god or being religious. In each of the psalms they relate to everyday issues people go through everyday like depression, addiction, greed and anger. As a kid, I read a psalm that was about moving on from the loss of someone an individual knew and learned that it meant that after asking my mother what it meant. The stories in the Bible are meant to represent real life events and issues that occur today and that occurred in humanity's past. The stories in the Bible never occurred but the stories are meant to be a dramatized retelling/telling of actual events that did happen or as examples of real world issues and events. Innocent people going to hell represents that life isn't fair to anyone, my mother is a ncie person but had recently dealt with three family members hurting her feelings. I'm a good individual, yet sometimes I'm treated horribly by some people. People going to hell is meant to represent that. Another is that it also represents that even the innocent are punished or accused of something they didn't do which happens a lot in reality. The innocent are never safe from negativity, death or danger. Anything and everything that's negative is basically inevitable no matter how innocent you are.
