I bought Huston's first arc as a gift for a friend when he signed up to be a Marine. I didn't know anything about the character, so I read it before gifting it and instantly loved the character. He's been one of my favorite Marvel heroes since then.

Definitely nice to see you getting back to your roots with more omni reviews/overviews. That’s what brought me to your channel originally until all the statue stuff started taking over.

I read the Huston run digitally a few years ago and can't wait to get that art on the big page!!

Just read the Jeff lemire Moon knight, Bendis Moon knight, and McKay Moon Knight. About to start this, I guess the show got me into this character and now I can’t get enough. Thanks for the review!

As someone who powered through a lot of this material recently, I really only liked the Huston material to kick it off, the Benson stuff that came after was weak and had rough art, just wasn't up to par.

i'll be honest, moon knight is one i didnt know about until the Disney+ series but i really like the style of this character, i'm thinking of collecting Iron Studios statues and might start with their Moon knight statue.

Loving seeing all these new fans getting onboard👌🏻 Hope for a nice long run now. He's such a cool character and the costumes are sweet. Been a fan for about 9 years, since I was 14. Good thing about him is most of his stuff is easily collected as he hadn't had massive ongoing series. Except the Warren Ellis run, have that but have seen its scarce due to his "allegations" not getting it reprinted. Enjoy the character and stories my friend 😃

The only other Moonknight material I've read is from the first Moon Knight omnibus, but have this pre-ordered from Cheap Graphic Novels. Was pretty pissed off when they pushed it back from April 6 to May 17, though.

Just ordered this omni and your review popprd up and decided to watch. Ive read the 90s run as a kid so Im looking forward to reading this omni and can't wait for Marc Spector: Moon Knight volume 1 to come out in the next few months.

It's okay, dude! Moon Knight has been written many many different ways over the years, and the show doesn't exactly follow any of them. It's as much an original story as when a new writer reimagines a character.

I'm glad the Moon Knight book is very much...a Moon Knight book. lol fuckin with you killa, love the reviews lately. Seriously inspiring me to dive into my back collection of omnis. I spend too much of my down time on the pull list, gotta get back into the collected editions.

@@GemMintCollectibles lol I figured as much as the review went on. I’m fuckin psyched to get my hands on that Omni. I liked the Bendis run more than most people, and Mackay has been killin it on MK lately. Throw in some Finch and that Spawn feel and I’m sold.

Still one of my fave marvel reads of all time1 i read this originally and became an instant fan

The fact that Finch’s name is not on the book is weird

Really excited to watch this one, been anticipating it for awhile and this is the first video I’ve seen

I’m looking forward to picking this up. Never read any Moon Knight so I can’t wait to check it out

Who knows, I might start with MK first, especially while the show is airing. Can I just ask, does the shadowland story arc make sense on its own?

This book is worth buying just for the art. Mico Suayan ,Juan Jose Ryp, Mike Deodato,Jr. , & of course David Finch. Incredible.

I just finished this one today and absolutely loved it. The only thing that got a little tiring was how much mark second guessed himself throughout the whole story. Plus the ending was kind of depressing too lol.

Don’t know this material, but gotta admit…the artwork looks really nice and moody. If the stories are written well, should be a best seller.

Would this be a good jumping on point for getting into the character of Moon Knight? I know practically nothing about his origin or much about his character as a whole. Truthfully the only experience I have with the character is seeing him during my playthrough of Web of Shadows lol

Really cool video, the art in most of this omni is absolutely amazing. I didn't realize it was such a dark story I wish the Marvel show kept with this story, especially since they could have set it during Civil War, could of replaced Tony (RDJ) with someone else that was on his side. How does the show compare in your opinion so far Gem?

I have vol 1 omni (Doug moench). If you had to reccomend one ,would it be getting vol 2 of that run, or huston omnbious, i liked vol 1 but i am interested in that more modern artwork
