    Thanks for the video, a nice one! The Series/Parallel thing looks like a stepped variation of wet vs dry mix, where with blue it's almost kill-dry mode, and red is something around 30-40% wet mixed in. Given that the pedal does not offer mix control per se, this may make sence.

    thanks for going through all of the setting and the special features with the footswitch. I do wish you would have tweedled the knobs a bit more-I'd love to see how slow/fast for the phaser and flanger and how seasick I can make things with some of those chorus-type settings.

    Love the low-res effect for the low-bit sound... Nice touch! ;-) Great sounding pedal for the most part, although I still don't understand why any guitarist would ever use a ring mod (it's more the realm of synthesis, where it can be quite useful to bring out harmonics in a square or saw wave...).

  • @onderkilavuz3515
    @onderkilavuz35154 жыл бұрын

    I got this one from a friend to check it out. You should try the last two modulation with the accelerator mode to get the idea. Ring is fun to play actually. Stutt becomes a full kill switch stutter with some tweak also. Thanks for the video. Cool tele sound.

    Great pedal on a budget for people that enter into the world of modulation, just 50$ so you can experiment and see what are the effects you like the most and possibly in the future upgrade for a better standalone pedal that sound better, like for example you will fall in love with Chorus so you buy a Walrus Audio Julia or you will adore Tremolo so you buy Tremotron. It's also good that if you realise you actually like them all and you want them all at once on your board and you don't wanna spend $1k+ and have a 10kg pedalboard you can always upgrade in a slightly better multi modulation pedal, like EHX MOD11, BOSS MD200, Line6 MM4, Wampler Terraform or the expensive Strymon Mobius or the crazy expensive Eventide H9, so I always appreciate when budget companies release stuff like this! :)

    So, im trying to put together a relatively versatile pedalboard without taking out a mortgage.... would this be a decent stand in to take the place of an MXR Phaser pedal, a flanger, and Chorus... this pedal and the EHX Mod 11 has gotten my interest because I'm thinking it would save space and be a 3-4-in-one kind of pedal, amd I've decided to get traditional pedals instead of a Multi-effects like the Headrush or Helix stuff.

    Hello Shane....this ped is really an ear teaser. As an advanced player with boards-a-plenty, an idea for your ped reviews cud be "whats on my board" .... wud like to know what your fave board set up might be today. Or lately. I know we players with GAS have a problem settling down to just one thing. Is more less or less more ? Strymans or Donner or Kmise or Mooer or Boss or JHS or Wampler or [fill it in].....its crazyness. Im a big fan of your vids. Hope your new Strat gets alot of stage time.

    I have all kinds of adjustments on my pedals and bend down in between songs. Delays, phaser, mod pedal, Dimebag wah. You all think bending down ain't right. Well I'm always gonna do this cause I built my board on purpose with many different settings to use. Coarse I figured out what changes way before stepping on any stage.

    For ring mod (also something I've never really used) I've found that if you tune the effect to the key of what you're playing in with the speed knob, it becomes a lot more usable. Still a "strange" sound, but the stuff in the background of your guitar signal doesn't sound so random and out of context. I'm assuming you could tune it to another interval to the key you're playing in for different effects. When I think about it, I think that might be the way to actually use it. I'm not sure though, but seems to be a good starting point anyway. After finding that, I actually kinda like the effect now and might start using it more.

    I tried the Valeton ,Donner and Sonicake versions of this type of pedal .IMO all miss the mark, the effects sound artificial with odd sweeps parameters ,like a bad parody of the effect they want to emulate (think bad 1990s digital modelers ) and also chop highs/alter your signal to much . It would be cool if they had 2 or 3 killer tones in one box (Flanger /Phaser/Trem) I would be sold.

  • @thehound2161

    Other than those last two settings, this sounds versatile and usable. With the red/blue it is an easy switch between intensity of the effect. The tap tempo is a nice bonus. I have thought several times about building a 4 pedal mini board/travel board with these Mooer pedals. They stack well in a metal flight type case and look and sound good. The delay/reverb/overdrive from Mooer have sounded nice to me as well. These 4 in a pack seem like a lunchbox pedal board. Cool stuff.
