Monument Valley, Canyon De Chelly and Lake Powell Arizona Road Trip 2024

In this Arizona travel guide we do a road trip to Monument Valley from Phoenix. Along the way we tour around Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, Four Corners, Canyon De Chelly and Flagstaff on the way back home. Monument Valley is one of the most interesting places in the United States. In this Arizona tourism vlog we want to educate and inform tourist and locals alike about the beauty and majesty of the North Eastern part of the state. Arizona has many tourist destinations to visit and explore and this one is certainly one of our favorite Arizona attractions. If you enjoy this Arizona travel video you can watch more roadtrips and travel guides on this channel. Most of this Arizona travel guide is filmed around the Navajo Nation.

Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. So love northern Az. We've been up here since 2022. So much up here that we still haven't seen or done. But my wife passed away a few months ago from the flu so I need to move to Tx to be closer to family so that I can have backup with our special needs son. Really going to miss Flagstaff, was planning on staying here for the rest of my life. There's no other place like it.

We used to take road trips to Lake Powell and rent a houseboat there when I was a kid. This brought back some great memories. What a beautiful area!

Hiked the 4 mile Wildcat Trail along the floor of Monument Valley. Pretty easy and level and awesome! You are right there even closer than the road where the jeep tours go. Just this late April was the perfect time. 70 and breezy.

Sun City West, Sun City, Sun City Grand. 55 & over communities (not gated). SCW is exceptional & you can still buy a house for under $400k, some cosmetic fixers under $350k.

Maybe we as American citizens do the same to our state capitals and only allow American Indians to have guides travel with them.
